FRESH SALAD?! IS THIS DECK GOOD?

Salamangreat is so cool; every single of those monsters does very little things building up towards something reasonably big. It doesn't seem like the kind of deck you can just autopilot; although the end boards might be similar to one another, the way you get there always seems so different. It almost feels wrong to not exploit every single effect, and trigger until you run dry. The newest fire support makes it so you have sooo many options in game, and in deck building; them running this random Fire Fist synchro is so silly.

There definitely seems like multiple means of doing what you want based on how you want to play the deck. Like how Jesse's seems better for board disruption has he plays and the one I use makes a better turn 1 board with it's own technical disruptions and resources with cards Jesse didn't use.

@@DarknessDpaIt was litterally released as an SD to get everyone into the game and printed the main play most people use rather clearly on the back of the mat. The deck was designed to be easy to play and auto pilot.

@@mrbubbles6468 What is an SD and what do you mean the back of mats? All I know is that calling this Salad an auto pilot deck means that almost every deck is pretty much an auto pilot deck then since the only auto-piloty thing about it is it's turn 1 combos that have slight variants.

I've only heard of this Jesse guy but have never actually watched him play or commentate and since I played Salad last month I was curious about how he would play this. Let's just say his is a fair bit more technical with the extra removal over resources but not too bad still. The one I use has Will and Code of Soul along with EM:P Meowmine that tends to end on a more offensive board which can help a lot depending, like that first game could have had Wolf + Raging + Pyro Phoenix, and had a Meowmine in grave with of course Princess.

From my experience playing this deck, I found 3 code of soul and 2 weasel to be better experience especially if your baelynnx got imperm/veilered. Does anyone feel the same ?

3 Code of Soul is very nice. 1 Meowmine too, but I think Weasel is best at 1. You never want to draw more than 1 of it

@@RanDoomPuff without extra extension, salamangreat still isn't in a good position though. That's what I meant. They don't beat the nib, but they don't get slaughtered by it anymore. "Beating" nib would be cards/decks that either can prevent it from resolving and doing big damage (Spright) or archetypes that possibly plus from it (like tear)

Cuz he can't beat the big token afterwards even with boosted raging but a 3100 DEF token is ok. He calculated every move even with little misplays he's in an ok situation.

Code of the Soul is a debatable inclusion since it isnt a name technically (although I think it should be included), but Pyro Phoenix isnt that great since a board wipe is all it does, destruction isnt super good rn, and the extra deck space is very limited. Not only can Zealantis set all the opponents monsters if it pops off, it can also facilitate a super easy OTK. Search up Zealantis OTK

@masterduelzero1795 Update/Acesss, terrahertz and literally anything, hell if you wanted to ftk there's even volcanic/salad not that I'd be caught dead on that list. I mean all the things you've said about salad are true but SE facilitates all that with a better arsenal in it's toolbox. The only reason I can see to take salad over SE is that the Pyro Phoenix tech removes the need to main deck board wipes, as well as giving you a board wipe setup on your opponents turn on a favorable draw.

Cross out is at 1 on that shit. Oh hell no. Yall get Maxx c I want 2 called by, 3 cross out and 3 ash because you always open nibiru plus Maxx c or Maxx c plus another hand trap. Do yall have 3 Gamma. Nah, this deck is getting ate by Maxx c, nibiru, and tbh multiple hand traps in general or appo is super strong. If I'm playing a deck like this I may as well just play fire king. Personally, I wish we got a real combo deck with omni negates. This format is out of control. Shifter does not mitigate that. All the Shifter decks can't go second except tenpai and that for 10 rounds there is no way that deck is not bricking. So, for me there is no real deck to play except maybe that fiendsmith deck. If they did not hit sharvara this format might have been okay.

Ranting about the TCG(who refused to hit Snake-Eye at all when they had a chance) during a Master Duel video is going to confuse a lot of people. Also Unchained got powercrept by Snake-Eye HARD, it's at full power in Master Duel and no one even cares. TCG are the king of stupid banlist hits, probably only banned Maxx "C" to make it easier to get everyone on combo centric decks.

@@metalmariomega I do not believe it was power crept completely. The problem on master duel is Maxx c unchained get punished by Maxx c much harder. Snake can literally fucho pass. Also, the rank 6 is still better than anything snake eyes extra deck can do. Once they slow that deck down yall will watch it crumble. The deck is living off of hand traps and 1 card combos. That deck could come out in any format and be good if sharvara was at 3 in tcg I am cooking. One Evenly matched the rank 6 and blue equals you loose
