If it was a FB friend police would have already found them with the internet messages some sort of communication with someone up there. Something tells me they planned this all out i was reading in another post someone saying they heard they spent 2+ years training for this and training for staying in the woods. Just a very strange story. My guess is they are not in that location anymore.

My theory. After being stopped, they thought they were made. They found a place to unload their camping gear, hid it and took the car to where they burned it out. They then hitched a train and doubled back to the west where they jumped off and headed back north towards their gear. They are headed north back to the highway, which I say is a few kms east of Split Lake. They thought they were being smart and leading the search toward the Gillam area. Which they succeeded in doing.

How bad can a life sentence in Canada be? A couple of psychologists will get these guys special treatment and they'll be playing on-line video games for the rest of their lives on the Canadian Tax-Payer's dime. You'll save time and money by flooding the area with snipers and paying the First Nation people a huge reward for their heads (but not the rest of them).
