One issue with this guide which should be updated: I would place warlocks at the very top...by a CONSIDERABLE margin. You forgot they have access to hellfire. We're currently running paladin, lock, mage, x (hunter atm) and the warlock is doing nearly twice everyone's damage. All I do is drop a regrowth and rejuv on them while building hots and heals on the tank and we're doing 20 mob pulls like it's nothing aside from the rare hairy moment. To give an idea of HOW strong, with 55k xp req for a level we're pushing 7m armory runs at 95k xp/hr. Hellfire is completely broken and with lifetap as well a warlock is just perma ramped up dps. The only downside here is we're going SO fast that we're hitting the hourly dungeon cap 40minutes in. But that just means we get a 20minute break every hour. I'd argue a better comp would be Tank, Lock, Lock, Mage, Druid. Honestly buffs don't come into play very much when mobs die so fast. The reason I go for resto druid is because more than any other healer in a lock comp, they can fully focus the tank with heals. A rejuv on each lock outheals almost all hellfire dmg till it ramps up and then a quick regrowth if needed provides the 2nd hot to neutralize it. Which allows you to purely focus healing touch spam on the tank for MASSIVE aoe pulls. And the locks don't require mana breaks, nor the druid very often because of how ridiculous double hellfire dmg is. The mage is in there mostly just for mobs fleeing at low health so blizzard traps them in, and thanks to evocate doesn't need to mana up too often. It's honestly just a stupidly high dmg comp, and a prot pally brings a massive amount of aoe dmg to the table to boot. With this kind of comp you'd not care about a priest for ex because the tank is taking so much dmg from roughly 20 mobs that you'd be letting him die if you holy nova'd.

I'd recommend doing Hellfire Ramparts to level 65... I am still getting 375k-400k xp/hour doing it at level 64 with 11-12 min runs. Tried Blood Furnace but that was only ~200-250k xp/hour because there is so much more running around involved and the mob density isn't that great overall

@@KC_604 There's quite a few soloable dungeons. Mages for example can abuse a lot of mob pathing and mob areas to find extremely easy elite solo pulls. You're forgetting that you don't need to solo the whole dungeon, and in fact it's virtually always inefficient to do so. Generally you're pushing for specific sections and areas which yield high xp/hr with low effort.

As a prot warrior and feral Druid tank I pretty much hate aoe classes on principle. And in heroics where I’m hoping for skull to die fast so I won’t go splat but the mage is aoeing so everything dies at the same time (slowly) making me wonder if I’m going to make it or maybe we’ll wipe. Sorry for the rant. I know I’m a weirdo and everyone else loves aoe.

That has more to do with an awful healer. Warriors can be rough to heal early on vs, say, a paladin, but unless you're doing 15-20 mob pulls you 100% have a bad healer.

its not. paladin is in Raid tier nr1 cas "oh-shit-buttons" - literally kinda immortal. in Dungeons and low tier stuff tho- more dmg means faster overall so warrior wins.

@@longlepro957 I find paladins better because they're easier to heal. With a proper spellcleave group and spellcleavers who know how to do damage, they should actually be doubling your damage, which means your party members were doing a poor job. It comes down to the healer. We're doing such massive pulls that if I had a warrior instead of a paladin tank we'd definitely be having a dead tank constantly, so the extra bit of dmg wouldn't be worth it. So we'd also be doing smaller pulls. I've only ever hit 7m SM arma nd 9m SM lib runs with a paladin.

I was with you until you stated that warlock have bad aoe lmao. It's pretty clear you don't or have never had warlocks in your spell cleave groups as hellfire does almost double dps compared to blizzard AT ALL RANKS. Arcane explosion is the closest thing a mage has to compete with in raw dps, but they'll go oom far, FAR sooner than a warlock spamming hellfire will. Not stating that one class is better than the other, both mages and warlocks are top tier spell-cleave classes for different reasons, but you really phoned it in when you glossed over your mentioning of warlocks in regards to aoe, and that's putting it diplomatically. Most people would just simply say you were talking out of your ass and leave it at that.

If this guide was going to be a real guide it would actually say what quests are worth doing for exp. Like you make it seem like bfd isn't worth doing but that dungeon has fairly decent gear and like 8 quests iirc and remember by level 20 you'll have your first mount. Then for horde you blow past rfc and rfd (I don't know if these have quests worth doing but Dam)

in vanilla classic I leveled both my chars, war and druid by putting together dungeon groups and tanking them. People who make these kinds of videos always talk about mage aoe groups but those are really more theory crafting than actual reality. For the most part finding 3 mages would take too long. Youd level faster by forming a normal group and starting on the dungeon then spending all that time waiting. Mages arent even all that popular anymore with 25 man raid comps having 1 or 2 so how is every 5 man dungeon group going to get 3? In vanilla classic anyway dps preference for me was warr>rogue>>>hunter>mage. Main issue with mage was having to stop and drink too much which slows group down. Wouldn't take the other classes.

Mage is 2nd best range DPS during ulduar and later. Why would u have only 1 or 2 of them in 25man? You take boomie/spriest/ele/demo and rest is filled with mage/affl.

Complete Redditor comment. That's why you had mages pulling mara for 18k exp per run, getting kids from 48-60 in a couple of runs, LMAO. Mages have a time and a place, especially in BRD. I ran BRD as a Warrior on classic launch and, while I did tank, you can spec mages into the skill that resets their Nova and clear BRD simply with Blizzard spam. Mages are not "theorycrafting", they truly have the echanics that allow them to AOE spam effectively.

There's no way you aren't ranking chain lightning shamans and hellfire locks above a rogue. Literally nobody is going to take a dungeon farming group recommendation seriously which ranks rogue as the 2nd most ideal inclusion. Our warlock is pushing just under 1k dps in SM Armory with hellfire. Your rogue isn't going to do 1 pull of his dmg over an entire dungeon. And if your mage is drinking basically every pull it's because you're doing dumb shit like building a cleave comp and expecting such long pulls to not drain their mana. Pair them with 2 other high output spellcleavers and they'll be casting 2 blizzards per pull because pulls last 10-15s and you might stop for mana once in an SM run for ex.

Hard to say. Depends on how many fresh servers there are, how high they turn up the spawn rates and sharding or whatever, and just how many people roll fresh. Also if you have a group ready to go, waiting around for a group or not being organized or going to a dungeon and then going and questing and then going back to a dungeon probably won’t be worth. Time will tell.

90% of levels for leveling in dungeons are just stupid. I hope the Author of this nonsense will not forget to buy himself makeup and a red nose for the next video. The real average level of mobs in dungeons is down below: ---- Ragedire: 13-14 Caverns, deadmines, shadowfang: 19 Blackfathom: 23 Stockades: 24 Razorfen Kraug/Downs: 26/37 Scarlet Grave/Lib/Armory/Cath: 29/33/36/38 Gnomeregan: 27,5 Uldaman: 39 ZulFarrak: 44 Maraudon: 47 Temple: 49 BRD: 53 LBRS: 55 Strat alive/dead: 55/58 Dire maul: 54/57/59 Scholomance: 59. --- You need to come to all these dungeons earlier, in wotlk realities 2 levels earlier, even with random players with green trash equip. go to the next dungeons no later than 2 levels above the average levels. I explain for the completely stupid - the spread of the levels of the group members does not allow you to effectively gain experience if your character is 3 or 4 higher than the specified level. in the realities of wotlk BRD ez2gettin killed with a full group of 50 level players, just for an example. Shadowfang - 17, Gnomeregan - 26, etc. Fast, stress-free and efficient. So, most of the levels indicated by the author are taken from the air. I almost died of laughter when I saw: "Blackfathom 24-32", considering that the last boss is 27, and the trash is 20-23 😂🤡🤡🤡. just looking at the numbers on the wowhead can even be retarted.
