I think it’s too late at this point. I’m getting to 60 then letting my account expire. My guild went from healthy 2 months ago to dead today. I appreciate the new content but just not interested right now with no guild and summer upon us. That said I can almost guarantee I’ll be back in late September to try this new stuff.

There too many min maxers. Its really hard to get into a raid without 1,000 requirements. Dungeons, even at this point.

TLDR - no SODis not back and its still trash, P4 is underwhelming as fuck in the aspects it needs to change and overbearing in the aspects it doesn't

I have a different take.......i think streamers (no offense just my opinion) are pushing the "gotta get to end game as fast as I can because that is all that matters" narrative. IMO the seasons are being released way to fast and I think that is a result of people believing end game is all that matters AND they will do anything to get there as fast as they can including buying gold and paying for carries. I hate to be this guy BUT i can remember a time that gold actually mattered. In times like this (as you say no content) people would still be questing and farming to make enough gold for spells and to save for epic mount. That process seems to have died with the new concept of I will buy gold to buy best gear to speed my leveling experience to max level, if not pay for carries, then complete raid and buy the best gear from it (either deals with loot master or GDKPs) then go play something else. i don't get that concept of paying money to bypass a game you payed money to play but that seems to be the norm in WoW.

For me the nightmare incursions was a huge mistake totally ruined the leveling experience

40 man raiding just isnt gonna hold up for long. people quit after a lil while and filling a 40man is gonna get impossible.

I loved phase 1. Enjoyed phase 2. Stoped playing during the phase 3 draught. Will nit be coming back for phase 4. Fuck 20 man raids and fuck 40 mam raids

The fire blast being a crit and castable while casting something else has been a thing since like legion.

Every phase they add tons of layers of complexity to classes and encounters. So many of the sod classes now feel like cata classes. Thats not the spirit of vanilla. I think having a few gimmicks for each spec is fine. And this is coming from someone who gets 95 parses on a competitive spec(enhancement shaman). I worry they will make raids too difficult and more guilds/pugs will give up. Also the balancing is getting wacky. They just nerfed enhancement shaman into the absolute ground while buffing every other melee(warriors are looking absolutely insane). Meanwhile casters dont look to be doing great either.

Holy paladins so shafted again. Instead of a light of dawn rune, sheath of light gets completely nerfed lol. We're already the worst healers. They give druids tree form and priests free pw:s spam. But nerf holy paladins because we were way too strong I guess!

The most fun I had in classic was around world bosses, all from the teamwork of scouting for them with the guild, making weakauras to help with scouting and notifying guild to fighting off the horde and the faction politics involved. This wont happen so im not coming back for P4 it seems.
