With the mobs being killed so quickly, Curse of Agony is definitely not worth the mana to even cast it. Its dot needs time to ramp up, and most of its damage is at the end of the duration. In my opinion, questing in a group, I wouldn't bother using it. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
