Umm...no reservations, free fastpass AND regular food order lines are what's left to get back to normal. Nobody should have to be on the app all day in order to enjoy the park.

My 11 year old doesn't understand why my eyes were tearing when the music started playing! Ohh the memories! It just brings my heart joy...I hope that my family will be able to go back and see it again. We haven't been to Disneyland for 8 years!

I’ve never seen someone so happy to finally be in an overcrowded park again lmao. I’ll consider Disneyland “back to normal” when they bring back the free physical Fast Passes and all the other shows. Update us in a month to see if you’re still happy to be in lines that are twice as long, which is probably by design to get more people to buy Genie+.

Also, there were fewer rides than in the past. So they were all crowded. Wasn’t the reservation thing designed to limit the attendance due to Covid? We were packed in like sardines in Haunted Mansion in the section between the elevator and the chairs. Felt like the time I was in the London Underground during a protest. Shoving and stifling.

But here we are and it's part of the magic we all need right now. I was at the 60th day, crazy people! Paint the night parade and the fireworks show was AWESOME! Can't believe it's been 7 years! I saw the electrical parade probably when it was only 5 years old! Plus a trip to Bob's Big Boy on a summer trip to see my grrreat Aunt!

Ok, here's my wishlist for normal at Disneyland 1. Bring back free fast pass 2. No reservations 3. All entertainment and shows come back 4. No politics involved 5. Offerings that make going to Disneyland actually valuable 6. Operational standards that match what Disney should have 7. Character dining and meets 8. Make going less chaotic and more streamlined with little or no stress 9. Make the park the way Walt intended, fun and carefree

Hey Y'all! I don't know if you noticed but World of Color is actually still missing some fountains and also missing the LED ring lights on some of the fountains. I used to work on the WOC and I notice that panel 3, which is on the far right, closet to the swinging chairs, over half of the fountains DO NOT HAVE WORKING LED fountains! They are sitting idle. I still have a friend that is working the show and told me that since the incident with the electrical vault being left open, the programming has become extremely difficult. David if you reading this look closely at some of the fountains on panel 3, and then compare is with panel 1( Far Left closet to resturant) and panel 3 (Middle section of WOC). The show is still lacking also the fireball from pirate of the Caribbean. The sound is way off too! I notice that when I saw is on Sunday! It literally was off by 15 secs. I memorized the show when I was working it. I really wonder if anyone on this has noticed it. I don't know why Disney went through all that effort to refurbish the show and its gotten much worse! Don't get me wrong it still packs punch, but many small details are being left out. I was so picky back then when I ran the show. Plus I noticed that there are no new parts for WOC other than the projectors. all fountains are not to their full power. So sad,

I'm disappointed that "To Honor America" was eliminated. I realize it was added for the 200th Birthday of the USA but it was a part of the parade for nearly all its history; it's just not The Main Street Electrical Parade without that. Missed!

Queues were low in some rides- haha rise of the resistance I was surprised. We had a spot, i left to use the bathroom came back and wasn’t allowed over the rope again my spot next to my sister gone because the crowds just kept pushing over. We hope to go back soon to see the parade

I went to Disneyland on Dec 1st and 2nd, and both those nights you could barely get past Moments with Lincoln as it was sooo packed with people watching those night parades there. So that is interesting that it seemed a lot more empty by Dec 21st.

I was actually really surprised they didn't add Encanto to World of Color. I know they can do that because the first time I saw WOC, they added TRON Legacy. Overall, the shows were all show amazing. With Fantasmic back, it's going to be amazing.

Everything feels like it’s back to normal & for me it will be back to normal when Disneyland get rid of the reservation system also bring back Max Pass because I love using it to go to a certain attraction multiple times like riding Astro Blasters back to back many times to beat my previous scores. What is everyone highest score from Astro Blasters & do you miss going back on that attraction or any attraction after redeeming your Max Pass then getting another Max Pass right away for the same attraction that you just go off.

Rise of the Resistance was $20 in addition to Genie+. Regular line was 120 minutes in blazing hot sun. Skipped it. Space Mountain lightning lane was 1.5 hr out, but when we booked it, we were ineligible to schedule any more bookings until that one was redeemed. Sucky system for $20.

They did more for Disneyland/DCA on this night than they've done for WDWs 50th entertainment wise. Disneyland will always be the very best of the Disney parks. The beloved nighttime entertainment makes the place a total clusterfuck at night. Mobs of people on the ground everywhere all day. How about a limit on how many hours you can camp out prior to a parade? I had to duck my family into an alcove in front of star tours to keep them from being crushed to death when they held traffic during the parade. We haven't even added fantasmic yet. What a nightmare. It turns new Orleans Square into a shitshow all night.

I agree about the fast passes! We used the free fast passes till the day they stopped having them. Back then I knew the Maxx Pass would eventually drive out the free fast pass. People with Maxx passes complained the free fast passes were causing lines. Everyone blames Chapek but only have themselves to blame for buying the Maxx pass back then. Once they realized people would pay money for it the game was on

Things are FINALLY feeling like normal again. My coworker's sister's boyfriend works for Disney and he gave all of us the VIP treatment on Friday. Front of the line for everything including ROTR and WEB Slingers, straight into Oga's Cantina, and preferred seating for the 9pm WOC show. And we are on the cusp of Summer which means Anime Expo, Comic Con International, and D23 Expo are on the horizon. What a bizarre two years it has been.
