I was there on Saturday and Sunday. About 20 minutes after fireworks was when they began opening the dark rides. Dumbo opened about 8 minutes after the fireworks. I rode the tea cups during the MSEP and it was a 5-minute wait. Without and waiting I jumped on Pinocchio, Snow-white, and toad. The canal boats had about a 15-minute wait and Casey had a 5 minute wait. I did matterhorn as single rider.

@@FreshBakedDisney Yes, 9:00 or if fireworks are happening, after fireworks. No later than 10 pm. Do the easier ones first like Toad and Pinochio, then you can do the other dark rides Snow White, Alice. Save the slow loaders for last- Dumbo, Casey Jr., Storybook. Small World and Matterhorn last. Then maybe one more ride on Mr. Toad- as it's the BEST late at night when you are punchy and your reality is already distorted LOL

I'm hoping to go to disneyland in early August, and I'd love to try this challenge! I definitely think its possible in 2 hours, but you gotta do dumbo right after peter pan, because that line gets worse fast than every other slow loader... I also plan on doing (and bare with me here) not only the DCA challenge, but I also want to try to ride every ride in BOTH parks in 1 day. I really think it's possible, I tried it almost a year ago, and I only managed to miss out on 6 attractions. I think rope dropping in DCA is definitely the strategy, and you can try and get that entire park done before 1pm, and then you'd have 11 (ideally) hours in Disneyland, we'll see, hopefully I get to go in August!

Order is Peter Pan, Alice, Dumbo, Toad, Casey Jr, Pinocchio or Snow. A Carousel long line isn’t to bad since it can load so many at a time. Only ride I skip is Storybookland. That wait and length of ride is a no no during early entry. Plus it’s a far better ride at night.

@chrixclub2 жыл бұрын
Ride order is critical. You saved 15-20 minutes with Pan by doing it first. If you had done snow white, pinnocchio, toad, alice, and tea cups first, you could've gone through all five of those in the first 30 minutes. Then Matterhorn, storybook, carousel, Casey jr., dumbo, then small world all would've been doable with no worse (but probably better) wait times than you already hit today. Then you finish with a full 40-45 minutes on Pan. Those first 30 minutes is everything! Knocking out three or four dark rides in 15 minutes is the only way to get through all this. But you can't do Pan first unless you are truly the front of the rope drop queue.
@FreshBakedDisney2 жыл бұрын
It took me 25 minutes to do jusy Peter and snow.
@chrixclub2 жыл бұрын
@@FreshBakedDisney Exactly. The whole rope drop crowd runs to Pan, which again, if you do first, only saves you 15-20 minutes max over doing it later in the day. But if you walk straight to Snow first, where nobody else is, you could save 15-20 minutes just on that decisions alone. But then you go from walk on snow to walk on pinoochio, to walk on toad, to walk on/5 minute alice, to 5-10 minute teacups, to 20 minute matterhorn to 20 storybook. All of which are time savers you don't get by trying to do Pan first. Then you are only in an hour and have just Casey Jr, Small World, Dumbo, King Arthurs, and Peter Pan left. Which might all take another 1-2 hours depending on crowd levels. But it would still shave 1.5 hours off your time in the video. The illusion is that by doing Pan first you save enough time, but you lose the prime window to knock everything else out in those first 20-30 minutes.
@JoJoLares152 жыл бұрын
This was an awesome video it really was! You tried but yeah fantasyland is a tough area for parents to hit all the rides! It takes a while. If you have a stroller forget Peter Pan at the beginning get the stroller to dumbo then get on dumbo then Alice and wonderland then tea cups then story book then small world then carousel then diaper change at red rose tavern while dads waiting for Casey’s chu chu train then hit Snow White then Pinocchio then mr toads then last hit Peter Pan take lunch/breakfast haha that’s how we did it took 3 hours on a Sunday morning rope drop.

Anyhow, what about the comparision with the Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom's Fantsyland's attractions?
@peterzimmer98012 жыл бұрын
That would be difficult to do…because you have two busy fantasyland attractions: Peter Pan’s flight (but that might be a bit faster since it’s an ominmover) and Seven’s Dwarf Mine Train. Since Peter Pan is similar to the Disneyland version (with some differences), I would hit up seven dwarf’s mine train, then Peter Pan, followed by small world, Winnie the Pooh, under the sea attraction, Mad Tea Party, and close it out with the barnstormer (it’s similar to gadget’s go coaster). But remember, you have less fantasyland dark rides at the magic kingdom than you do at Disneyland…3 at the MK vs 5 at DL…MK used to have Toad and Snow White…but since then…they have gone to yesterland…
