I love this game. Did it on the mummy, we found a guy(red hat) and lapped him 4x, after that we felt it was time to move on and let others have a chance

Such good timing, thanks David! We usually go to Disneyland if we have an extra day in So Cal but next month on our extra day we're visiting Universal for the first time. I can't bring myself to buy Express Pass but it's ok, we don't need to hit every ride. Yay Fresh Baked!

The only problem I have with Universal Studios Hollywood is they close too damn early to charge as much as they do for an Express Pass.

The only ride you really wait for with Express is The Simpsons Ride and sometimes Screat Life of Pets, but it's usually under 30 minutes

Express for MarioKart is a double edged sword. Express line merges with standby at the first of the two pre shows. So Express has a guaranteed 20+ minute wait. 7-8 for each pre show and 7-10 for final queue. If you see Mario at 40 min or less, use Single Rider line if it’s open. It skips both pre shows. BUT, if single rider extends out of building, do NOT use it! 45 min standby or greater, use Express.

I was there on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Wednesday was manageable, not very busy. The longest I waited for a ride was 60 min, and that was for the Simpsons ride. Now 6 very different stroy. Very busy and wait times for all rides were 60-75 min

I went to Universal Hollywood last month which was my first time going. I also didn't need express Lane due to my disabilities (I use crutches to walk) most (Not all) rides were easy for me to handle and had disability lines... the one ride I had a problem with was Transformers. I can't stand in line for very long, eventually my legs give out. I called out for help, made sure my inevitable fall was controlled but no one came to help me. Other people in line saw and heard this happen but after a few minutes no one came so me and my friend left with me in tears due to the stress of it all. Even other Team Members who horrified by what happened because that is not okay. Even the woman I lodged the formal complaint (because yeah I had to) said it wasn't okay. I now hate the Transformers Ride along with my friends who all hope they get rid of it eventually. Though thankfully the rest of the rides were not a problem, I had loads of fun, I managed to score a reservation to the Toadstool Cafe which was so good (and I was the one to make the reservation in my group) and got to everything I want (Transformers was not on the list of stuff I wanted to do). Also I highly recommend getting the Coke Freestyle cup, I bought one on the first day and did the refill the remaining days. Also the part of the track that goes under the stairs was there last month... I even took a picture of it because that's so cool.

Agree that The Mummy is an exceptional ride. I really only enjoy Harry Potter town and Mummy. Haven’t had a chance to experience Mario yet. But all the other rides are the motion screens or the water ride. Bleh

I don’t understand why the express line is packed for the mummy. I went last Thursday as a single rider with my gf to try the hack where both of us get on together and it work but the express was always packed for some odd reason.

Doing all of the attractions even as a walk-on is pretty impossible in 3 hours. Tram will eat an hour itself. Lots of attractions have pre-shows which will eat up another hour when combined. And walking to everything will eat up most of the rest. Escalator alone is 10 min each way. And Waterworld technically includes Express but it is a 20 min show. That is the crappy thing about being a Platinum holder. Express begins at 3 and park is open till 6 most nights of the year. 7-8 sometimes and 10 on rare days. But even on the most packed days, Express lines in Hollywood are always very short, so you go during Christmas holidays and you feel like you are a king, as you walk right onto everything while the standby is 90 min Honestly, since Express can be used one time per ride per day, I don’t really understand why they made it after 3. I’d love it if they made it valid for, say, 6 hours from first use

I'm glad I didn't renew my pass this year at universal because theirs not as much to do there and the rides are not really as good except the mummy and jurassic world
