Love yr videos mate, it helps me decided between talys. I was havin a hard time to choose since they all sound amazing. At last, I chose taly north as my first choice and south as my second. This is was so helpful! I noticed that you drive a car in your other vlogs. Can you make a videos about the perks of having a car in uni and the expenses that come with? I’m planning on moving to Cardiff this fall and I’m wondering whether I should buy a car there or not? Would it be beneficial in terms of having a part time job?

I mainly use my car to commute to training and my job but it has been really helpful for driving for days out with my friends etc. I think it really depends on your personal circumstances and if it would be worth it. hey ive been watching a couple of your videos and i love all the content you've been putting out about cardiff (im going in september) i know youre in talybont north but do you know about the student houses (village) accommodation? i had to pick 10 preferences and that wasnt even on my list and thats what theyve offered me? i cant find ANY reviews on these rooms which is a little concerning ha

I remember having to put down 10 accommodation options and feeling the same (I couldn't even stay in 5 of mine as I needed parking!) but I haven't met anyone who's had less than their 4th option. Hope that puts you at ease a little x

Cardiff University is much better than Cardiff metropolitan University. But it's okay if you like all terms and conditions you can go for it too.

how far of a walk would you say you're from heath campus?

About half an hour or a 10 minute cycle. One of my flat mates goes there a lot and she said once you get used to the route it will be a lot quicker :)

the earlier you choose your accommodation the more likely you are to get your highest choice!
