As their confrontations unfold, Utena becomes more confident in her role and increasingly influences the magical girls, good and bad team, around her... in bad and good ways. Some of the future fights are very badass, and she's very charismatic in them.I hope they'll be adapted (chap 20 or... ep 12 ?) I lire this manga so much. Every month, a new chapter. Cute and hardcore yuri. No family friendly :) The adaptation has added little scenes to smooth transitions and add characterization, which is a pleasure... The "bust" is not censored like on the scans... that's nice too ;) the opening shows Utena in civil, which is also part of her characterization and psycological evolution. The ending shows her with her friends, giving clues to future interactions. As for little Alice and her stuffed cat... yes, she's very young. No, she's not taking part in the "game", she's the 1st to stare at her cringing elders. She'll have her own way of innocently "annoying" the magical girls. Above all, through its power, it serves to vary the framework of situations.

Idk if it's a common magical girl thing, or for the sake of the parody, but I like that one of them in this show has a kansai accent. I find that quite fun. XD Also, I noticed watching through this reaction, Utena actually smiled when the magical girls got hit in the very beginning, and they showed a closeup of it. I thought she was just smiling at the magical girls in general at first, but nah.... she was subconsciously enjoying the view of them getting hurt by their foe.

lol I didn't know what I was getting into when I first watched this ep. I just saw it on recently updated and I was like is this a CGDCT? So clicked and was instantly shocked lol. It was actually pretty funny though and the MC is kinda adorable. Also I love that the magical girls have a magic ability that makes it so you won't recognize their face but then they immediately just start openly talking about their duties as magical girls in class in front of everyone lol.
