@@ace0135 I mean define random. It sure doesn't feel random that he gets the key to a low level dungeon to level up right when it was a good time after doing the daily quest for a decent bit. Other random rewards have a similar vibe going on, stuff just happens to fall into place. As Sung Jin Woo says, the system needs him alive, the system wants him strong, so it would be reasonable to assume that the random rewards aren't all that random.

Since episode 1, we've heard the manhau readers talking about Sung Drip-woo. Drip-woo this, Drip-woo that, he's the GOAT - and we haven't really seen why. A lot of people thought that the glow up in episode 5 was it and felt underwhelmed. But TRUE Drip is more than a pretty face and 2% body fat. Drip is a mindset. Man, my first week for ride-a-longs in EMT school fresh out of HS, we got a call to an airport about a guy who crashed his plane. Dude literally impaled himself with a rod through his eye and his head. Ever since then I've had eye issues lol. (almost 20 yrs ago) And no, I do not do emergency work anymore lol. The spider stabbing eyes was ughhh!! for me hahah. We got the same subs this time lol and I 100% think it's more impactful when he says "be hunted" after talking about the hunters. Rambo style. Also, I listened to this ep with my nice earphones for once and I have to say, this is one of the nicest sounding episodes I've heard. Just the VA/bass with the fighting is amazing. Gotta give the VA/OST their justice.

Yeah, although I think the translation went the correct route here, since terms like “aniki” or “hyung-nim” often have a connotation of respect that isn’t really applicable to a direct translation of “bro”. “Boss” probably works better for the scene, and I can see the translation changing over time as jin-ho’s relationship with jin-woo develops.

While the episode was done really well overall, there are some cut sequences that were left out that make it a bit disjointed in my opinion. Why include the fatigue counter but cut the daily mission reset? The Spider fight seemed wayy too easy in the anime whereas in the source material it was almost pure luck that he was able to pull off the kill. I think the choice of prioritizing doing so much set up on characters that we probably won't even see become relevant this season over some of the important smaller details is a miss for me. Overall IMO its an 8.5/10, beautifully animated with an amazing score but feeling a little hollow and rushed.

The skill is still called bloodlust for me (my opinion also thats what its called in the manhwa also) thats a better name for it also the "Drain" effect should have been bleed instead and the killings where more brutal in the manhwa I feel like wich I would have liked here, still a good episode though.
