OK let's see 1. Anos separated the demon, fae, human and gods realm for centuries to recover from a recent war that nearly decimated everyone. 2. The fire/ice twins used to be one very powerful person, but since she has her eyes of destruction that activate through mood swings, the second one was made to keep her company (and not be destroyed). Anos "retcons" them with time magic to be fused with their past selves so that each was their own person all along. 3. The hero created the fake Avos Dilhevia persona to give humanity a proxy to fight and kill to end the war between the human and demon realms. He falls in love with this half fairy girl that helped her mother exist for a bit longer, since she had a weird disease shared by halfblood fairies. 4. Anos' present day parents seem to be unfazed by their less-than-a-year-old baby not only growing in a day's time, but enlisting in demon king school and bringing potential brides-to-be every other day while also not questioning the day he came with around 1000 "daughters". 5. The cheering squad are commoners that came to believe that Anos is the true King of Tyranny. This allows Anos to use a "human only" skill that boosts the receiver's strenght in proportion to the feelings of love and hope of the casters. This skill is opposite to the demon's magic that boosts allies with the power of the caster. 6. The original hero had several roots. When he died, the original roots reincarnated in several people, which are the best students of Hero Academy. But the main root was revived in a halfblood demon and can still recreate the extra roots that made him virtually immortal. Each root is restored after being destroyed by the remaining ones. So current hero is just as unkillable as past hero. 7. Main antagonist of the previous season had very little respect for life, so he created a virtual soul to power a homunculus whose main function was to control thousands of clones. The clones were little more than robots that literally exploited the self-sacrifice magic that used their own root to blast anyone dumb enough to be around them. 8. Anos made it so that both the original homunculus and her "daughter-copies" had their roots linked to Anos himself rather than the spell that created them, giving the original her freedom and the 1000 daughters more personality... making them "his" spiritual daughters. So yeah they're older than Anos for a couple of years, which is still not much. 9. It is presumed Anos' mother fed all her "grand daughters" the day she met them. She still doesn't question how "her baby" made them and/or when. One of them plus the original join Anos in his class in this chapter. Oh and the dad is awesome he forged a magic sword for Anos with almost no time nor funds, just so his kid could go and "make them proud" in a school event.

Yeah Misa and Lay had a romance in the first one, that's why they wear the seashell necklaces because two of them together mean you'll always be together. But we never fully progressed it so her saying she loves him and them kissing was great. In S1 they teased it as he leaned in for a kiss but only took her necklace as a promise he'd be back to give it to her. A lot happened in S1 so I totally understand. What Anos said about the end is that the 4 kings came together and those are the lieutenants who obviously have a plan (which we haven't learned yet) But it sounds like they are separating everyone (basically the main characters) so that they can pull it off. Sounds like they probably want to use the god child. Also Zeshia was the girl who kept killing herself vs Anos in the Heros vs the Demons in S1. She's the one that they had thousands of clones of. And remember that Eleanor thought they couldn't talk but then one of them said "mama" to her in the tank of magic, so it was nice to see her talk in this.

this is an entirely new plotline from season 1. this deals with the gods and spirits. The guy posessed by the Heavenly Father and the other 3 were Anos' rivals to the throne back in the day, while the 7 are his subordinates. Anos pissed off the gods, so they are teaming up with his old rivals to take him down.

There were multiple factions working independently who tried to changed the name of the demon king for various reasons for 2000 years. Rewriting history, overwriting people, blackmail, changing destiny etc... were all methods that were used. To save him, to kill him, to gain power... there are many reasons for the actions. Weaker demons have a hard time overcoming that. The author did try to explain it so that we could get the "oh he is weak but actually strong MC in magic academy" trope. It isn't the best, but isn't the worse. Season 1 was somewhat rushed and so it sped through and glossed over explanations of the world. A longer example from season one: The Hero Kanon attempted to severe the destiny of Anos being killed after he revived. Kanon didn't want Anos to have to fight after he gave his life for peace. The holy sword he used was forged by humans, spirits and gods to kill Anos. Kanon then intended to take the place of Anos and die as the demon king. Jerga got help from the gods as revealed in this episode, so it didn't quite go to plan. This seasons should cover more, though it will have to wedge in some explanations of the world, it's races and magic that was cut from season one. There is more that we have seen in season one, but it could be spoilers for this season.

I watched the first season before I watched the new episode and I did not know what the heck was going on and I'm glad you feel the same way this first episode makes no dang sense because there's plot twist after plot twist after plot twist after plot twist makes my head almost want to explode 😁

There's a "connecting" scene that basically recaps what happened before. They skipped that part and included the backstory. I think the intention was to make it less confusing later but it did the opposite, lol.

Near the end, Anos tried using Ingal to revive but got cancelled so he used Revide which is like time spell, used during the first Arc when Anos tried to send Misha and Sasha souls to the past.

Hmmmm... Recap: 1) Anos is like months old. (he grew up fast) 2) his parents are weird. 3) The two necron sisters started out as halves of a single soul (source) but then grew more sources and became super powerful. 4) Black School Uniforms mean one is a 'Pure' or 'Royal' Blood demon a Distinction that didn't exist 2000 years ago. White uniforms mean one is a Hybrid. of demon and some other non-demon (Like spirits or humans or whatever) They are looked down on and since Anos was reborn as a hybrid he is completely unacceptable to most pureblood's BIAS they can't see beyon there own birth related class structure most just CAN'T it was an ongoing theme in the first series. 5) The red uniformed girls. Eleanora is some sort of host/source/root for ten thousand clones of herself. all called Zeshia. I guess one of them is coming to school with her. They may have a hive mind or shared experiences or something. I don't remember. 6) The spirit lady from 2000 years ago made background appearances as one of the people helping Anos to sacrifice himself to build the barriers between worlds. -- And it seems that these barriers aren't/weren't completely solid has inviduals slipped back and forth between them. 7) Lay was The Human Hero 2000 years ago but wanted to be reborn as Anos's friend. So he came back as a pure blood demon and the demon realms greatest swordmaster, able to go toe toe with Anos. He was also the Secret big bad in first season. He had seven sources and used them to take control of the seven demon emperors who ran things in Anos's absence. creating the lie of Avos Delhivia and plotting to have the humans KILL Avos (himself) to ease their blood lust and bring peace. Anos of course through sheer awesomeness came up with and executed a better plan. 8) I THINK the current teacher who got kidnapped was the teacher of a different class introduced when the Demons went to have a class exchange with the human hero school. However I'm not sure. She may be a new character. 9) Lay's girl friend had a sword (or half sword) from her Anonymous father (having kids with non-demons is frowned on) It was this sword (or maybe it's other half) that was used to stab her in this episode. (I'm sure she's okay or will be okay) 9) The girl groupies are a school society that promotes equality between purebloods and hybrids. It's telling that they have no pureblood members although they DO have secret support from some hi-ranking demons. Since Their cause is illegal They put up a front as an Anos fan club... They seem to have bought their cover. Their unique magic was singing as a group to create area effect Buff spells at critical moments. Hence why he was asking them to sing again. TL:DR - 2000 years ago Anos made friends with the human hero. The hero was betrayed by humans who couldn't give up revenge and reincarnated as a pure blood demon and master swordsman. He hatched a plan using time magic to create a false demon lord (himself) and sacrifice himself to the humans to end their bloodlust. The story revolved around Anos discovering the plan and evolving a better plan. With a lot of death and recovery from death along the way. And Anos being ridiculously badass.

There's A LOT of screwed up translations in this and Anosh SHOULD NOT have been shown this early. He doesn't show up until later in the volume Four Evil Royals = Four Evil Kings. There's the Blaze Death King, Netherworld King, Scarlet Monument King and Conflagration King Erdomaid = Eldmeld Anoshu Poltiwhatever = Anosh Portikoro Also as to what is happening, Avos Dilhevia was in fact someone made up by Kanon, but a child was born that bears the same name? If that makes sense? It's really hard to explain without going into spoilers. It's a lot easier to just say Nousgalia is on some bullshit

(Not spoilers) This was honestly a great episode. I was worried how they're going to stretch the seemingly finished plot line of season 1 but this exceeded my expectation. I'll try to list down some major details of this episode. this episode was such an infodump that I had to rewatch it 2 times to fully understand whats going on. Also a little note for those who have already read the Source material, I kindly ask to please refrain from revealing details major or not that are yet to be revealed and let people enjoy the show. -A God claiming to be the father of Gods appears, and he isn't here to play around , apparently he wants to give birth to a new child of God which would bring the law/order of destruction of the demon king and he have chosen the great mother spirit as the womb(Zeus?). - Another demon king imposter appears? After Avos dillehevia we now got Anosh Porticolo. - New big titles and names are introduced. "The four evil royals" said to be second only to the demon king 2000 years ago. -Talking about the four evil royals one of them appears as an instructor in the academy, he's called Erdomaid dittyjoin "the blaze death king", and he sure looks sus asf. Short after, he was revealed to be the heavenly father God Nousgalia in disguise and the original Erdomaid apparently offered his body to the God in order to give the demon king an enemy. The God came with an announcement that the child of God who would bring destruction to the demon king is within the academy and according to Eleneor if it's a God who's law/order is based solely on the demon king's destruction it might very well have enough power to do it. -We get some detail about the nature of Gods. In short, they're basically less of a "being who's worshipped" and more of a "being who's in charge of maintaining some laws of the universe". Completely killing them off isn't possible because they're the manifestation of such laws and it would cause a great disarray in the world in any case one does like what Anos did to the God of destruction in the past. Their actions are also revealed to be based on the orders they embody so their values are really far off from other races. - A detail about Anos' law destroying sword. Originally, I thought it was made from Anos' logic breaking powers but now it was revealed to be made after Anos' took down the goddess of destruction and converted her authority(I assume this refers to the 'law' of this god) to a spell. -Subbordinates of the four evil kings appears and they have formed an alliance and lured in Anos and his Subbordinates just in time when they started looking for the child of God. They also seem to know whats going on regarding this child of God. What could they possibly be scheming? Let's see in the next episode.

So in the first season they did mention Anos killed the Gods, They didn't show any gods other than that one TIME GOD in the first season. But apparently from what I gather is that one god can't permanently die and now he's back and is possessing that one demon which was one of Ano's main Generals from the past. But also now there are some high Royal Demons some that actually lived around the time of Anos who are teaming up with this God to try and Dethrone Anos and that don't apparently like these peaceful times I guess. And they are trying to make a God child using one of his followers probably one of the twins, to try and make a being strong enough to kill Anos.

i kinda need a bit of adjusment with the new VA, the previous one have like digfinied prince kinda voice not quite mature like a king but you could hear its nobility, i guess that why its fits really well with the school theme, this one really does feel like a full fledge mature king voice so its kinda a bit of a throw off for me, but i guess story wise, since like at this point so many people know who anos is, it will fit naturely... so let just enjoy it for now

I... don't like this voice for Anos. The lighthearted sassy tone really sold the character for me as a contrast to everyone around him and this new one sounds too serious. I know its the same va as goblin slayer and his voice works really well there but not here.

I mean yeah the new VA clearly changed the characteristics of Anos, before he's like "I got so many bttches flocking around me" with that voice (the voice actor really gained it from experience eh) while the new one sounds like a serious type of guy who DOESN'T like people flocking around him , probably because of the deeper voice . But you'll get used to it, his work is really good☺️
