This was a fantastic showcasing of how Reinhard can't just be the easy solution to every obstacle. In other series the OP characters easily resolve issues or would easily end threats unless they were against an equally OP opponent, JJK and Bleach are great examples with Gojo and Captain Yama. But here against someone soooooo much weaker than him he still loses to her. "A hero is all you can be" Pucks words from the unthinkable present vision Subaru witnessed carry through here, with Reinhard killing all those innocent people it would destroy him beyond repair, the invincible was defeated

@BlinksTehShit couldn't protect the girl because he got clapped by Todo, someone who was also OP, got sealed because again he would clap every one of the curses, just like with how he squashed Hanabi literally, and then there would've been nothing for the other characters to do, takes Sukuna with Mahoraga to ultimately kill him, again 2 majorly OP beings in the series. Gojo proves my point, he wasn't beaten unless it was against someone who had to be OP, he was sealed in order for the rest of the plot to happen not beaten in a truly nuanced way like Reinhard is here with Sirius. I do like JJK it's super entertaining with it's fights, reminds me when I used to watch DBZ back in the day, I'm just not a crazy fanboy who defends the series to death over any singular ounce of criticism. No, throwing away his life would be not gathering information on what can and cant be done for this situation and just facing it with a shit plan (which he initially does). I said he should be gathering info and then if he needs to he should kill himself so that he doesn't get the save point moved forward with an unexpected death to an ally. To be fair, in a way going out there and dying is getting information, but in the end its still throwing his life away. If he didn't die after the first loop then I would say he isn't throwing his life away but he did die at least once more, if not a second time coming in the current loop. Unless he's gonna let his girl get snatched up to be CornyAss's 79th bride, he's likely gonna die again. What defines throwing your life away anyway?

We've only seen those eyes in Emilia and Fortuna so far, and a little information when Fortuna said that Emilia has her father's eye. So Emilia's mom might not has the same eye. so yeah, what other possibilities do we have regarding Sirius's identity?😂 And because Emilia is a half-elf, and her father is an elf. Then her mom must not an elf. Maybe a human. But Emilia was born 115 years ago. And both Minerva and Echidna said they knew Emilia's parents, which they lived 400 years ago. There's 300 years gap between Witch era to Emilia's birth. And it was impossible if Emilia's mom is a human but was able to live for 300 years. But it was possible, if she's a human, but had a witch factor. Echidna even said that Emilia is a daughter of a witch. Sirius' authority of wrath ability is pretty simple. Anyone who's under her influence (shown by their red eyes) shares their emotion. But this link can cause an infinite loop where a kid's fear will make Subaru scared which negatively feedbacks to the kid so he's more afraid and so on. People also feel the same pain as others under her influence as well as herself. She's just trying to make everyone experience the same thing both emotionally and physically as that's what "love" means to her.

I’m pretty sure the moderate faction of the witch cult died with Petelguese’s sanity. The reason Sirius and Regulus don’t get along is because Sin Archbishops naturally have conflicting desires due to their respective sins. Without the gospels and Pandora to coordinate them, the Sin Archbishops would never play nice with each other. The reason the witch’s tea party didn’t devolve into a bloodbath is because the witches powers and personalities worked as counters for each other, leaving them with an odd sort of equilibrium. Sekhmet would enforce the peace violently, Echidna sould cleverly play with everyones emotions to keep them in line, Minerva would heal everyone if someone was hurt, ect. Sekhmet and Echidna would sometimes even team up on Envy in order to make sure Satella took back control. The Sin Archbishops don’t naturally have that same synergy, so of course they end up going against each other occacionally.

The author obviously didn't want to make Reinhart be the solution to everything, so Subaru didn't think of it, but the easiest solution was still Reinhart IMO. He temporarily removed the curse from Subaru and doofus by touching them, so the following procedure could have solved this: 1. Have Reinhart knock the F out of Sirius 2. This will cause everyone there to be knocked out as well 3. Remove the curse from everyone by touching them 4. Go back to the unconscious Sirius and crush her skull Easy peasy Wrath is taken care of lol. It wouldn't be for a good drama though, and we already know Subaru isn't the brightest.

Its probably just a lot of hindsight bias on my part and recognition that he never succeeds after his first return by death. Normally his second chance also ends in failure and probably even the third chance too. This is currently his 4th chance. So those are already 3 timelines in shambles and I feel like the 2nd and 3rd might have gone to better use. Idk i guess I need to accept that Subaru feels he must always face the problem head on assuming he will succeed.
