"Her mission statement" - I'm sure this song is from Angelina's journal, where she keeps notes of her experiences. Thanks so much for this reaction, Boudy. Your thought that this is an anthemic song for Angelina, a brand song, if you will, seems true. Princess of RUINS -- when I heard that phrase it made me tear up in the way AJ's music often does. Thanks for your reaction Boudy and I apologize to the world for having a antique cell phone. This was the only song I recorded from her early show at Westgate Resort in Las Vegas. The world is now trying to understand all the lyrics to this beautiful song. Great reaction Boudy. Angelina was great. The band was great. By the second concert that night they had gelled as a unit. They had only two weeks to write the charts for this rehearse day and night. The room sound was fantastic. The crowd was ecstatic. It was a wonderful experience! There are many more videos of this concert coming from other fans please keep an eye out for them. A wonderful record of Angelina's triumphant debut in Las Vegas. ❤

First I watched your reaction, and I thought it was very, very insightful. Then the more I thought about your suggestion of a thematic song that grows and becomes more than the song, the more I applaud your idea. It is unique to me and probably others. People in the business might think it is not novel since other artists may have had a song like this. But to me this theme, the princess of ruins, could become an iconic idea--certainly insofar as impoverished children are concerned. It was Angelina's unique and fortuituous experience that focused her talents I believe. It was a song she wrote from her own intimate encounter, and that is the kind of song that rises above most other songs. In today's global environment, the millions of children at risk is a tragedy of enormous and frightful proportions. Thanks for your insight and thoughtful remarks...

We are so fortunate ...how often will you be able hear such amazing young talent, that has a huge library of covers and originals. Who is now at the point in her career were the content will grow significantly away from covers onto mostly originals. AJ's road so has enabled us to enjoy her coming of age and us coming along for her ride, and all before she really, and I mean really got going. I agree that this was a very important song for Angelina to write. Who knows if someone suggested that she write this or if it was her idea all along. It may actually be a song she wrote a while back. Maybe a studio version exists and will be released soon. The timing of the song is perfect as she is slowly being introduced to the world

Great reaction Boudy. I am so glad you could see past the poor audio quality and I appreciated your explanation as to why this occurred. Since Andy’s video, another Angelina fan/reactor cleaned up the audio and released an updated version. There are many working on putting together a lyrics version, and if past performances are a clue (like at Kurbadhagen Norway in 2022) there is a good chance Angelina might release a studio version soon. As to the title “Princess of (the) Ruins”… this excerpt is from Angelina’s book “Mellom to Hjerter” (Between Two Hearts) and it explains the little girl’s name Princess: “…Inside my heart, I have become so fond of this girl. ‘What's your name?’ She does not answer, she begins to mumble: ‘Eh ... mmm ...’ I say to the girl: ‘Yes, I know what your name is. You are called princess.’ ‘Yeah, I'm princess.’ She stands there, a little uncertain. ‘I'm not a princess living in a castle. We live in ruins, we have no castle.’…” Thanks for reacting to this beautiful and meaningful song Boudy, and thanks for supporting Angelina. I was there for thefirst show, and while there were some nerves and little hiccups, the show was sensational and so real... loved mom and Mery and sis were there yelling, crying and screaming, and the band members were so engaged. "Princesse of Ruins" can be related to the kids in war-torn areas. (Ukraine or perhaps Gaza). And we all know how that looks. Not one building is standing, and children try to live there. I believe Angelina is putting her finger on this, and her voice. So that the world leaders has to do something about this. This is Angelina, trying to tell us that war is not the way to go.

I wanted to post this here. I posted on another reaction of yours with respect to some pitch issues that I could hear and I wanted to clarify, and update. You are a professional singer, and I mentioned that you are my favorite reactor, and I have many. Could not fully pay proper respect for your knowledge. I am as big of an Angelina (Barefoot Princes, young lady with a 1000 voices, aka “the chameleon”), as any one. She is my favorite female singer/vocalist/performer/amazing human. But I have listened to so many mostly female rock star/lead vocalists, and I have very tuned ears, context, and a valid take. Not rock I understand, but listen to Jackie Evancho. You will never, ever hear a bad note ever. She was pitch perfect all the time. Classic singer i get it. Rock genre, Ann Wilson, same thing and to add, like Delores O’Reardon, not comparing in one particular way since the latter is Irish, but both voices had uniqueness, personality, variation, tonal change capabilities, etc., but always pitch perfect. Ok, enough, I wanted to get to this point. Up until some recent performances, everything Angelina did/would bring you to your knees. We all know the list but I will post a few. Feeling Good at 10, Fly me to the Moon, the View, A Million Years…, Million Miles, Suspicious Minds, Easy on Me, for me Shield, “How Great thou Art, you should react to that, does the whole song in the same key as Elvis. Ok, the Vegas Shows have quelled, and dispelled my concerns and critique, simply amazing other than her curious and frustrating end to “Feeling Good”, amazing. I hope she does what speculate about this song. I love what it is, and thx to you, and your knowledge, I love and share your speculation with respect to what it could evolve into. ☑️👌😎 JP
