Hey Gary, Thanks for the comment. With this particular problem, it ended up being a multiple of both fueling and ignition issues. The float bowls on the carby were leaking, one of the hoses was also leaking along with the wrong needles in the carby, causing it to run immensely lean. Even with the choke on and the fuel increased, it still struggled to run properly. As I have done a vernier timing chain on it as well, the timing was out (to be expected) and took a day or two of tuning to properly rectify how it was running.
