Aww man that sucks how these Otis Lexans are now fully modernized. I remember riding these in 2013. But your right they did need the modernization. These elevators were not holding up the best and I remember the controllers being a bit glitchy when I was here too. They seem to be doing better now with this mod.

They still go 350 FPM, they probably just don’t have the rocket acceleration they used to. Also, that one that looks like it isn’t complete is actually never an elevator, and newer was.

Correct, I later corrected myself in the video and in the description. Also, it may be true that the 1 elevator may not be a real elevator right now, but the fact it had the new Lantern and indicator makes me think it could become a real elevator but I could be wrong. Not to mention, the Auxilary elevator hadn't started modernization at the time I recording this.

A fake elevator is definitely something that Disney would do

I visited this place three times in late 2021. First in early October, none of them were modded yet. Second time a month later in early November, two of the elevators were already finished while the other two were in progress, and then the third time I visited this place was last month on December 20th, 2021. I filmed these, by then, only one elevator was still a mod-in-progress. This is a neat mod but overall basic and very generic.

Like the Contemporary Resort, Elecators at Beach Club Resort got Disney characters calling out the floors you arrived. You got Minnie Nouse. Other 2 were Mickey and Goofy. I love that sound type of characters. What was the fourth?

Then though these elevators are generic, instead of the Gen2 voice, I think the voice is unique.

Did you know that one of these elevators is actually fake. The one suppose elevator that doesn’t have a key hole is just decoration.

Seems like Disney wants to mod pretty much all their elevators. They ain’t broke, so why “fix” them? Seems more like a downgrade.
