That's the cleanest looking flathead I've seen on this channel, absolutely immaculate. Nice find.

Nice to see some 37s on the channel. Would love to pick up a mostly original slant back or club coupe someday.

221. The original flathead engine displaced 221 cu in (3.6 L), with 3.0625 by 3.75 in (77.79 by 95.25 mm) bore and stroke. The block was cast as a single piece (monobloc) for durability, and a single-barrel carburetor fed the engine. The 1932 V8-18 with 5.5:1 compression produced 65 hp (48 kW). Ford flathead V8 engine - Wikipedia 65 Donkeys. 221 cu inches. your v8 is so clean wow. Its a keeper. I used to have 1962 ford f100 that had 223 cubic inches it had solid lifters. It would lay scratch a long ways. was a six cylinder ran great rebuilt motor by ford when you drove it 70 mph the solid lifter roared. LOL sheeeeeee

Dang! Once again, another great SCORE! WOO-HOO! Kinda hard to see anything when you're backing up into a big dark square hole, isn't it Mike? It's always nice if someone would stand outside to help you, but Nooo, the other guy (Matt) goes into the darkness and yells, 'OK' 'c'mon back' and ya can't tell where c'mon back actually means, haha😮😅

I have a set of the block mounted water pump blocks and engine mounts so you can do that water pump in the heads conversion. I have a '37 but I returned it to the block mounted water pumps.

With as many time you guys have picked up engines, you would've built a cradle to sit them on for transport.....just sayn'. By the way, nice flathead, clean!

There's just something about the sound of those old flat heads. Just think about all the hotrods that were built in that garage. Was he just trying to cut down on some stuff or is he getting rid of every thing?
