Spring semester you can make your own schedule. Fall is prepared for you. But you can add classes to your schedule for the fall or freshman year

Hi Seamus, my name is Patrick and I am a prospective marine engineer. I am going into my senior year of high school and am in the process of applying to Maritime College. My question for you today is if engine license students are allowed to take electives or other courses such as your tanker simulator class or bridge resource management (although they may not be directly related to engineering)?

It is theoretically possible but as a 3/C mechanical engineer I don’t recommend doing that, as you will have a lot on your plate as it is.

yeah you can register for any classes the school offers, you won't really have a lot of time though. Engineering is very challenging and you will need to be focusing 100 percent on your core workload, you really won't be able to take electives unless your a genius who doesn't need to study.

most of the dorms are doubles but you might get the unfortunate triple every once in a while. See you on campus!
