haven't been to Koh Chang since the late 1990,s great to see it hasn't changed much. Kai Bay and lonely beach were my favourite

Dont advertise those elephant s buddy, look at them swaying, that's distress! - Last time I was there in April they were covered from head to toe in bruises, clearly being beaten :(

Did you enjoy it and what part did you stay ?
@wulfgang2865Ай бұрын
@zacghent8564 it was amazing! We stayed in the south near Bang Bao pier. It was good if you like a remote and relaxed place. I would stay closer to the towns on the west coast next time though for easier access to everything.

@@wulfgang2865 cheers mate what towns or areas would you recommend staying at ?
@wulfgang2865Ай бұрын
@zacghent8564 Kai Bae beach if you want a busier vibe with lots of restaurant and shops. Lonely beach area is a little less populated but still lots of stuff and waterfalls nearby. The east coast I've heard is less touristy so depends on what you're feeling.

@ can you remember any low to mid budget decent looking hotels that are on the beach at Kai Bae Beach that you looked at or went past and seemed like a good spot ? Thanks

From somebody who has been going to Koh Chang for 18yrs Please never feed monkeys and never not just Thailand give someone your Passport for a bike rental ! Enjoy Koh Chang if you come and be safe and happy . 🙂
@Pete7554htp2 ай бұрын
I don't care what anyone says, giving anyone your passport is stupid and there is NO justification for chaining elephants and if you look at the seats on their backs they're used for tourist rides. They'd be happy in an ethical elephant reserve.
