Hello po, ate! Ask ko lang po if magandang edge yung Psychology going to med school? Incoming freshie na po kasi ako this August. Though I know na there are other majors that would give me an advantage prior med school, gusto ko parin po talaga mag Psych and concern ko lang is baka maghagol ako ng subjects pag dating med school. hello! tbh if sure ka na med school talaga gusto mo I suggest derecho na med school. Pero if unsure ka pa, you can opt to take masterals kasi faster siya and 2 years lang then licensure na for psych.

Ate, just wanna ask lang po may mga subjects or units po ba kayang tinake pa separately when you took bs psychology, in preparation of med school? If so, what are them po? Thank you po in advanced, I'm struggling with my path because I really love psychology and analyzing people and their behaviors but there are certain disadvantages din daw po kasi sa bs psych if you're going for med school. And as someone na not that privileged in time and resources, I want to make sure that my path is practical po. Salamat po talaga!

Hi Ran! i'll be honest with you ha. BS psych is also a premed course so it is appropriate din if you're entering med school pero now that im in med school I wished I took other hard sciences like Med tech or PT kasi its more aligned to medicine. Pero I have no regrets kasi before I wasnt sure yet if I was going to enter med school and I really enjoyed Psychology so no regrets for me :) Siguro if you're sure with medicine there are other courses that have more advantages pero if you're unsure like me, psychology is also a good choice :)
