My favourite of these videos is when she pulled rose quartz and marbles out of clams painted gold. Then there was the one that had painted beads in it with smiley faces and barber pole swirls on them. This is very silly and completely faked, but very fun to watch.

What causes the clams to have a colored shell? What causes some clams to work overtime & make so many pearls? Then some r huge & others r medium size. What causes all this?

This is a hoax. They are shell pearls or crafting beads planted into a dead clam which is then painted and glued shut. Don't believe everything you see. The real value here isn't in dyed pearls and painted shells, it's entertainment only.

Wow, that's a lot of pearls!! Amazing how they can grow inside like that. I wonder what the clam goes through on the cutting of it's stomach? I've opened a few clams and it's amazing to see the pearl inside. I've never seen THIS size or color though.
