You know I originally wanted to get some of those about two months ago but I couldn't find them anywhere in stock in the US. I'm not sure that I'm willing to pay international shipping for them just yet.

I have a 16 gal tank, with rocks and plants maybe down to 12 - 13 gal. How would I keep shrimp from breeding out of control, Want some shrimp but do not want to mess with trying to sell or give away. Just want their population under control. Want 1 betta, a small bunch of male tetras, a few cory cats and a few shrimp. Any suggestions?

You should try green emerald neos. They’re a really dark green, and they’re a little bit more tricky than a “normal” cherry shrimp. They’re beautiful! (I’m biased though because my favorite color is green 🤭)

It's very possible I'll be picking up some golden back neocaridina from a friend this week. I just have to figure out where to put them.

A mixed aquarium is definitely eye-catching, and there will be some interesting babies. But all the bright colours are recessive, and after a few generations, the dominant colour will be a transparent/brown/green mix with different patterns, which I personally like a lot.

Shrimp don’t lay eggs they scatter live young after becoming berried .
