Very good & informative presentation of the CHSR facility in Fresno. With Gavin Newsome having been elected Governor of California the state that I love the most, the next 4 years building it is most important. Where I live in Arizona, the Governor there is now pro high speed rail. Governor Ducey of Arizona wants high speed rail from Phoenix into Los Angeles. His Republican opponent in the race to the Arizona primary ran on a pro high speed rail ticket made Governor Ducey see the light. Many Governors regardless of political party will seethe light of high speed rail & the need for it and the jobs it will create.

@@anitrain a Loa Angeles-Palm Springs-Yuma-Phoenix-Tucson-El Paso high speed route can enable high speed trains make the run in 8 hours total time as that is an easy route there with easy grades.

What is the purpose of the arched roof of the maintenance facility? The design of the building in this complex should be functional and utilitarian not monumental.
