First, he tells what he's going to teach. Next, he teaches it. Finally, he tells what he taught. All logical and clear as a bell. No surplusage, no ambiguity, no lack of careful study. Plus he's cleverly funny. Many thanks David from the mountains of British Columbia.

The only comment I can make about this series of six steps is that it is truly excellent, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I will be watching your other videos after getting the skills demonstrated by this series under my fingers.

I see I've found these lessons five years after they were posted. I'm following the Six Steps to..... and I feel like I'm getting something. That's saying a lot since I've been a frustrated beginner for 50 years. Glad to see you're still posting.

These 6 lessons are brilliant. I really appreciate the time you took to go in-depth to explain the make up of each component part. A vey valuable Course for FREE. Thanks again and best wishes.

As a current student of yours I took the injured wrist down time and tackled these six videos. Awesome course. It improved my playing immensely. And you make it fun. 👍

David, thanks for a great series. I am a big fan of your lessons and have purchased several from Trufire. This series was like having you as a personal instructor.

Really good series, each lesson is full of useful, reusable ideas. I had to do them slowly and practice a lot before moving on to the next lesson but eventually got the groove. Surprised this series doesn't have more views.

David, I like the way you play, the way you think about your playing and the way you tell us what you're thinking.... I would find your videos entertaining if I just enjoyed the music but didn't play at all.

Hopefully David won't mind me adding this comment but.....if anyone wants a great example of this concept in a more sophisticated version then tackled D.H.'s very nice "Bryant on Six" arrangement on his TrueFire New School Fingerstyle course!! Jim C.
