Great lessons! I find the way you present this, the pace and style, all very easy to take in compared to many blues tutorials. Thanks very much!

Yes, folks, definitely go through this whole great blues series, starting with the previous two based on the E chord groove. Great stuff, absolutely clinical in its clarity. For me, maybe a bit hurried with the chord shapes up the neck.

All your lessons are clear, imminently worthwhile and learn-able. Not to be impertinent, but I'm guessing that's a cedar top guitar. Hard to say, seeing through the grime.

Remember what we've also discovered David.......Texas kitties are the coolest! Nice ancient (000-18?) Martin.........don't tell me you traded in your Austin area made Collings acoustic!!!?? You always manage to open up my acoustic blues playing with these great F.C. lessons Jim C.

It's a '50s 00-18 - nope, I still have the Collings; this one predates it (my ownership of it, that is) by about ten years; it's the main guitar on my "Pennsylvania Station Blues" CD.

I’m kind of having an aha moment with this series along with the monthly Fingerstyle Five. It occurred to me these patterns were essentially like moving the pentatonic scale positions up and down. I’m sure the intuitive musicians saw that right away but sadly, intuitive I am not!

The switching bt A and E makes most sense in this specific video you made.......it's all good, but I wish you would actually play a song that makes that sound familiar to those who know the song.....just a thought....thanks for the lessons...........

David, I notice on this and the previous 2 lessons in the series that you use your pinky and ring fingers quit a bit where I would usually give preference to my index and middle fingers. Do you do this out of personal preference or are there technical reasons? Please explain. Thanks.
