​@@hannahjacobs3416 I have not personally read the books but my husband has and he has said that it is a huge stretch from the books. Henry Cavill is a huge Witcher nerd and has also read the books and that's why he is leaving because it is so far stretched and the directors basically told him tough shit they weren't going to change it to be like the books.

Cuz they want to bastardize and cannibalize the books and put in their own ideas and that's not what adaptations should be about. Henry fought to keep it canonical and they wanted to play house basically. I'm glad it's flopping after Henry left...serves them right.

It is such a far stretch from the books that it's really not even going to be enjoyable is what most people are thinking. Even seeing Liam in the trailer as the Witcher just looks wrong.
