I had this happen when I was on a work crew. I was on the crew for 6 years and earned the respect of everyone on the crew through my work ethic. But this one guy who's been there like 8 years was giving me the hardest time. One day I had enough I turned around Infront of the entire crew and said "listen to me! Don't speak just listen... I understand you've been here a long time and you have a ton of experience, but I'm sick of your unprofessional shit, I'm tired of you bitching every single day about me and the dumbest shit that doesn't matter. I'm here to do a job, you're here to do a job, if you cannot learn to respect me as a person and coworker to do our job efficiently then you can go to the manager and hand him your vest because I can do the job and I will do the job that's what I'm here for and apparently you can't do the job with me here even though I've earned the respect of every single crew member but you, it sounds like a you problem. So go home, take a nap, eat a meal... Whatever you gotta do to be the 8 year veteran you claim to be and when you can act like a civil adult around me I'll be here" 🤷 every single person on my crew was clapping and then several of them said finally someone told the cranky toad off 🤣🤣🤣
