Money as in purely money doesn’t give you happiness, it gives you the opportunity to pursue happiness in your life but not everyone knows how to live more happily, it can be overwhelming. I also think that „not being poor” makes you happier than being rich - if that makes sense.

Josh and Randolph should've won that first debate. Their arguments were so much better and grounded in reality. I think when you become rich enough, you feel like it's all the little things that are the true source of happiness, which in a way is true, but they are forgetting how they can really pay attention to those things and enjoy and appreciate those small things, because they are financially so in the clear that they have no need to worry about money. Genuinely, I and many of my friends and family have been in positions where u are scraping the bottom of the barrel and where you are counting every penny to get to the end of the month, and I would not wish that on anyone. It's truly a terrible feeling to struggle with money and feel like you can barely make it through the month, let alone afford hobbies, or personal development, or investment in personal skill or even vacation to recover from working a 9 to 5 day in day out just to barely get by and all the stress and struggle that brings with it. All the problems I have can be solved with money. Whenever this debate happens, there are always a hundred arguments why money makes you happier and always the one same argument it doesn't, which is "ye but the little things in life". That should be an argument on it's own tbh. Plus, I feel like Simon and Vik won, because their subjective opinions are that money doesn't buy happiness, so they picked that because that's also their opinion, but objectively Josh and Randolph had better arguments, so should've won in a batlle of debates. Anyway long ass rant, but it boils down to Josh and Randolph should've won that discussion.

I disagree, not necessarily with your point. Although I definitely do not fully agree with it, I understand it. But with the fact that Josh and Randy's argument was better. They made virtually no points other than, "I want money, and I make money, so I can be happy." Josh barely said a word throughout the whole thing. Simon and Vik made much better points. It was only Viks wording that brought them down slightly, and even then, you could get an understanding of what he meant. If he had not mentioned himself going to Cuba or the fact that the stayed in a villa, he could have phrased it more like, "no matter how much money you spend, it is the more simple moments that means more and bring more joy." And that would have raised no eyebrows. Whereas Josh and Randy's really only made one point throughout.

Ehhh. Idk. You can see what happens with people with a lot of money. Some seem super happy but then you learn that their life is just empty things that cost a lot. For me, if I made an extra 30 grand a year I’d be much more happy sense that would allow me to build a better savings and save for a trip.

Psychopathy is a genetic thing, they are neuro divergent like how autistic people are neuro divergent, and while it’s only a tiny percentage that become serial killers, all of them are not very pleasant people as their part of their brain that deals with guilt and empathy are not working properly.

Terrible argument points - the argument is THE MORE MONEY YOU HAVE, THE HAPPIER YOU ARE. not being without money is better than with money. Vik and Simon should have mentioned that money is great but contentment is the goal, not chasing more and more. While it is good to be rich, greed is believing you can only be happier if you get even more money. Then you develop that....

10:18 That was horrible. Vik and Simon’s argument was so bad that it contradicted everything. Why’d 3 people choose them? That means the decision was pre-made. KSI and Ethan also won their argument, because the “against” team literally mentioned “WHAT IF” nonsense without any context. Humans would’ve been wiped out without MATING WITH EACH OTHER. World would’ve been in the Stone Age without ADVANCE technology and developments. So mating with a HIGHER SPECIES and understanding their world would obviously take the human race and the world to a whole different level. THAT IS LITERALLY THE PEAK. Humans and this current world is slowly dying anyway Both teams “won” while losing the debates.. Really bad. KSI and Ethan easily won that debate.

In regards to the first debate I think Simon had the strongest arguments overall but was brought back down by Viks blunders. However, despite clearly mentioning things that had obvious holes, I think their side was clearly better and there was sense to viks argument (people in poorer places are happier and even when you go all out on expensive things, it is the more simple moments that stand out). These points were better than anything josh and randy said, but his wording made it seem worse. Josh did not really say any argument, Randy did most of the heavy lifting, and even then, their main argument relied on saying "I working hard, to get more money, to do more things, and in turn, be more happy." Their arguments did not really hold any merit because their examples were quite weak, "i want to make my child happy, with money. I want to make myself happy with money." I think Simon and Viks win was deserved personally.

Money can't bring you happiness when you grew up with money but had no relationship with your parents therefore growing up not knowing the love or knowing how to make relationships we've seen rich spoiled brats who spend money to get ppl around them to make it seem like they're happy but inside they're not. That's a very small amount of ppl though so for like 95% of ppl money does and will bring happiness
