Did you adjust the speech so that it sounded more like the actual english words? Because radioactive sounded so accurate.

Kiiind of? So, norn speech is made up of syllables that are in the game files like "Bee0.wav" and "Dah0.wav"... Obviously no norn has actually use the word Radioactive, so that part is actually "Rah Bee Boh Pah Ke"! I do my best to approximate the syllables for every word, but sometimes it's just not practical. A couple years back I did a norn cover of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk, and "Harder" was fine because I could do "Ha Dah", but I could NOT think of a way to say "Stronger" so I just picked random syllables.

I'm enjoying your work. The music video was great! Did you mention why you're using the older Creatures game instead of Creatures 3, and how did you get that one to run with Docking Station? Are the Norns any different from C2 to C3?

I'm using C2toDS Revamped because this year is Creatures 2's 25th anniversary! The norns are pretty different neurologically between the different games, but I'm not versed enough in the comp sci part of it to go into much detail on that!

That cover of Radioactive was mesmerizing. How long did it take you to put that together?

Hmm, I didn't think to time it, but if I had to guess, probably two or three hours? These things used to take several days, though. I've gotten MUCH faster over the years.
