Because fame is recognised more than talent. It isn't 'who you know, it is who you blow' is the perfect quote from peep show. I don't beleive that entirely. Most people in the charts today have parents who have big connections. Look at Miley Cyprus, she was Hannah Montana. Got a huge break, then suffered a huge break down in her life but then eventually found her own identity. I feel bad for child stars, good for Miley for doing what she had to do. Still not a fan of her music, but I respect her. Truly talented people do not have the connections that she had. So it is up to us yourubers to get Freyer her recognition.

I was always running, always escaping from love and being loved. That really came after a truly hard breakup that I'm beyond grateful for at the moment... Regardless, I don't and din't have a boyfriend at the time, can you guess who I was in fact running from? My mother. While running away from love, she was the one missing, and as I imagined a life without her, the only thing I could possibly think of, was the pain she was experiencing for not being around on this earth together... I can't believe how disconnected from life we can be, for us to not be aware of the real treasure of love... During that emotional "isolation", I wrote a song for her, and the last thing I knew, I was all covered up in tears. We can't scape love, and indeed, mother is our greatest love. This is the song, in case you're curious: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6icpmmEaMipoa8

This song explains perfectly how I felt when Sarah died - she was my soul mate, my everything! Now she is my Guardian Angel and I live in the hope that when my time comes I will be with her again as I'm very much lost without her! Thank you Freya for sharing this soul filled song with us. This song brings me full circle. I lost my Father 8 years ago, and haven't been the same since. My Dad was my everything, he was my Hero. Everyday I struggle to go on without him. This song speaks to my soul. Thank you Freya, for helping me find the words to express my grief. ❤

When you sing,’ your the only safe haven I’ve ever known.’ Made my throat lump up and it hit me right straight inside the heart, loss is a powerful thing. Its all consuming, heartless, unforgiving and everlasting.

She is amazing, every note she sings is with great depth. I lost my husband at the tender age of 46 and this song says everything

Ditto! although I was only 21 almost 22 when my husband was killed by a drunk driver, and I completely agree with you about this song! It does something to our hearts that we cannot explain, and I just wanted to let you know you're not alone some days are harder than others but because we loved our husbands the way we did that is why, music like this is so special to us! sorry i just seen your comment at complete random this morning and I just wanted to say hi and let you know ;) its crazy how God works in mysterious ways! Thank you for sharing!

Music is art and can be so moving. This song will resonate with anyone who’s experienced profound loss. But to me it highlights the resiliency of the human condition, it moves me to that dark place and reminds me of how fragile I am but also how resilient because I didn’t stay there. Not all musicians can elicit those emotions and she does so brilliantly.

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this now, and I swear it gets better every time. The pure emotion of the song sends shivers along my spine, and you can tell Freya means every single word from the bottom of her heart. Re-watching the video again after a year. Still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It gets better and better with age like a fine wine. still Wow, just Wow.

@@mpower320i Absolutely! I won't give up on him ever! We have been married going on 14 years and I am in this for the Long haul. I don't blame him at all because I know who he is today is out of his control and if he could change it he would. It just hurts to know I may never see who he is to be again. I love the man he is today and will love him through his struggles. Our communication is good but he has a hard time fully opening up to me and we have our days where that can be hurtful but my faith in God gets me through the tough times. Thank you so much for your kind comments. It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your day to encourage me. God bless you! Lots of love, Katie ❤️

He will come back! It will take time.... but he will come back to you... mine did ❤️ after a long fight and sobbing nights the man he left in Afghanistan came back to me, he has some moments where he drifts away but not for too long.. they really never are the same.. it took time, effort, patience, love and prayer. I never ever left his side! Stay strong. It’ll get better
@britnelson90075 жыл бұрын
Mine didn’t come back the same and after 10 years being out of service I can say it’s life ‘before’ and then ‘after’ you find a new normal. Learn to love the new person he is. Expect him to WORK his ass off to get healed- no sitting around over here. Quality of life after living in hell is fought and cried for. Keep keeping on. Someday there is light at the end of the tunnel.
