Thanks for that , grew up in the middle sixties with him as a hero , my mate roger Marshall followed him as well never knowing that one day he would race against him , great memories of him from our local cadwell track and seeing him at the tt and mallory park .

We were stood behind the Castrol sign on top of the wall at the start line for the 1967 Senior TT. Amazing week of glorious weather and unforgettable racing. Mike the bike a true legend.

This churchyard is also the place where Nick Drake's ashes are interred (under an oak tree). Thanks to both men for the precious memories that their short time on Earth brought to many of us. They may have long-since passed, but their stars still shine brightly in my thoughts.
