Day 2 of the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, presented by ‪@GilaRiverResortsCasinos‬, was full of excitement, with the arena erupting in cheers throughout the day.
The morning’s activity began with nearly 100 examples of authentic automobilia up on the block during the Automobilia Auction, where Lot #9385, a 1931 Texaco Oil Butler #30 visible gas pump and Lot #9397, a circa 1940s Mobil Oil Socony-Vacuum Aviation Products porcelain with neon sign, proved to the stars of Friday’s show, each selling for $40,250.
Following the top sales, a trio of Ford-themed collectibles made a strong showing. A 1951 ‪@ford‬ Bowser Siamese Rol-Way gas pump with a lighter unit (Lot 9374) sold for $22,425, while a circa 1930s-40s Ford Automobiles neon porcelain sign (Lot 9399) brought in $21,275. Additionally, a 1927 Ford Automobiles Tokheim Model 600 visible gas pump (Lot 9378) found a new home for $19,550, rounding out the impressive lineup of Ford memorabilia.
