I enjoyed hearing from Willemien so much, what a resilient artist to do work on such a profoundly distressing topic, and to keep doing it! I am inspired by her work with stitch and stain, thank you very much for presenting her here.

The 'Save Me" pieces are extremely moving. They remind me of religious art. The theme of women saving other women is powerful, and I think it is this exploration of becoming woman that I find most exciting in Willemien's work. I was so excited to find this interview, albeit quite a while after it went live. Thank you.

I've been mesmerized by Willemein's work for several years now. So happy to watch this interview. With respect to writing, the above and below the line are the ascender and descender strokes. Watching this interview makes me want to pick up stitching again. Thank you for this interview.

meditation....I had wrist surgery and can not stitch right now and I miss the calming effect so so much! It looks now that I can recover enough to stitch in a meditive way (so long time repertitive mindliess or is it mindful? stitching) it is a pitty that the sound is not so good, but I loved looking at this interview a lot.

Disappointed by the feedback which made this incredible woman difficult to listen to. Clarissa - if you used a headset this would not happen. Her voice coming out of your speakers was being repeated with distortion. A shame. Hope this helps for next time as I love watching your interviews.

Very cool. But yes, please either mute yourself while the guest Is speaking or wear heaphone so we don't here the guest's voice coming out of your speakers.
