Hi Danny thanks for the video. The fish is from a box in the freezer. It still probably tastes pretty good while it's piping hot. And I know you don't like veggies but force yourself to eat some with every meal to compensate for all the burgers and carbs(rice and noodles). Also, I think Ellis Island is a short walk from the Horseshoe so no need to take a bus! WALK. BTW, I enjoy your channel and look forward to the new videos each Tue and Fri(and sometimes more often!). Black Bear Diner, Colorado has a great one in Aurora. Lots a food worth the price. Breakfast Menu is delicious, just a lot to handle in a sitting.

I have had that meal and the coating is heavier than panko - I think it is bread crumbs and quite a heavy coating of them. A little drier than I like because under the coating, the filet is kinda thin.

Did you get a sense of the type of fish that they served you Danny? Looked like a pretty good fish and chips type meal. I always squeeze lemon and spread Tartar sauce on my fried fish before tasting it....Those hush puppies will clog your arteries in a heartbeat! Maybe having intermittent reviews at vegetarian restaurants or salad places will retard the inevitable tendency of eating out a lot and getting older to cause a little weight gain. Also walking to more of the restaurants from you hotel room or domicile. Keep up the interesting reviews:)!

It's very interesting. The Black Bear out here where I am only gets 2.5 stars on yelp, not good. And the one star ratings are off the chart. Now in Vegas, it's the polar opposite. The Black Bears out there get 3.5 to 4 star ratings. I'll wait until I get to Vegas to try a Black Bear, lol.

It's the same for steakhouses here in the SF bay area. There's not one that can hold a candle to even the average steakhouses in Vegas let alone the top tier steakhouses.
