Such a beautiful mod, Tamacoochi did such an amazing job directing it! I'm so incredibly glad I could be a part of it and help out a little with the programming and charting for it! I did the charts for Repressed, Stay, Spotlight and Genesis, so I hope you guys enjoyed these ones! Can't express how much I love the story, it's a very hard hitting mod in a really good way and the storytelling is amazing! Very good approach to a really serious topic that should definitely be talked about more often, it was such a insightful and amazing experience through and through. Can't forget about the music too, which is WAY too good, my god all the songs have so much emotion in them and you can really feel the storytelling, even just by listening to them standalone. The art is insanely good as well! I love the pastel look of everything so much, it looks super cute and the new designs are awesome!! Huge props to everyone on the team that worked on this masterpiece, it was so much fun to go through. Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. I actually noticed something in all the songs, or more over, the OG songs. BF's voice is almost defensive, or soft you could say. And all the opponents sound sharper, more aggressive. Now this is how you show the pain in song. And in the second song in week five, along with the last, soft BF is actually sounding more aggresive then than his parents and the smoke ghost, and the parents sound softer as to try to defend against the truth.

If you look closely at bf’s character in cutscenes where his neck is visible, you can see a tiny red mark, then when he pulls his sweatshirt down, you can see a lot of burn marks, and his dad has a cig I think you can tell where this is going

Why is no one talking about how OG BF acted while talking with Soft!BF its honestly my favourite dialog interaction in this mod. Soft expects to OG rude and say stuff along the lines of "Look how you could have turned out yet you chosse to become a dissapointment" and what sells this dialog for me is just how nice OG is, (in his own way but still) and is with this kindness that we see how fu**d Soft is, again he expects OG to be rude and look down on Soft yet he is not that way, why is this important you ask? It shows how bad Soft's parent and maybe other people made his life terrible to the point where he expects people to look down on him just cause he is used to this treatment, it just goes to show how if you look hard(ish) enough you get a whole new point of view to this story. And this ladies and gentalment is why Friday Night Funkin' Soft is one of (if not) the best FNF mod out there. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

The story is so cool, the way Pico and BF acts with each other is so cute, I need a lot more of this and I'll be looking forward for more updates and the continuation of the story, the theme of domestic abuse is so unexpected and yet made the story complete, it's pretty sad, this is my favorite mod so far, they did the story any other mods did, same for the musics, even the bf's voice is better made than original, as is easier possible to notice on last week, I just love this mod and I will take years to ever forget the story, it's just art what you and they did

I always personally preferred portrayals of GF as more of a villainous or anti-hero kind of character. Like she acts and behaves mostly friendly, but will act more villainous and self centred at times. I think ever since the Vs tabi mod, I’ve seen GF as little better than her parents. Probably good intentioned, yet still villainous and self centred at heart. I just personally like that portrayal.

There's nothing wrong with Girlfriend being on the darker end of Morality, She's a freaking Demon for crying out loud. But when it comes to Music, As well as Boyfriend, She just seems to be vibing, I'm 100% in to the whole, Look at the "Now" and not the "Then", Too many people care about what you did in the past, They love to bring it up in conversations over and over again. Girlfriend, If she actually did those things to Tabi "Which i 100% think she didn't mean too do, Especially with how regretful she seems to be in the whole Mod" that was in the past, She's different now. She's always with Boyfriend no matter where they go. "From inside a video game, To a freaking Military Zone" And in Week 7 alone, She could of just killed the Tankmen that were holding her at gun-point but instead just decided to enjoy the music, She only looked like she was going to do something to them when they tried to shoot her, Which would of been self-defense. "Pico interrupted her from even doing that mind you" And that's Canon Girlfriend, Mod Girlfriend seems to just be even more derpy at times, In the Tricky Mod, When confronted with a reality-warping Demon Clown, She just vibes lol. I can name a bunch of other Mods, But they tend to just make her seem very distant from is all, "Which i personally don't like mind you, But i can see why Modders tend to do it" She's only there for Boyfriend, And the music. Nothing else lol "We could view the Shaggy Mod with her definitely being more like a Demon though, But let's be honest, Scooby had it coming saying she was a Monster and whatnot, And she mainly did it cause she knew Shaggy could of just brought him back to life, I viewed the whole thing like Girlfriend just shut Scooby up for upsetting her, Still dark for sure, But it's what ultimately gave us Shaggy's 0.1% power thing, A bigger challenge for Boyfriend lol" Edit: Which is to say... That I don't believe Girlfriend is necessarily Villainous or a Anti-Hero, I just think she's a normal "By Demon's standards" young woman, Who has had a crazy upbringing, "What with her parents being literal demons and all" In the same way that Boyfriend is just a young man with almost God-like Rapping abilities. Despite what Boyfriend and Girlfriend CAN do, They tend NOT to do, Because they don't NEED too. Week 5 really does a good job giving off the vibe that BF is telling his parents and the ghost off. It really feels like he's done with everyone. Especially that scream in Genesis. Edit: I also just realized the arrows are a softer color than normal. Good attention to detail. Edit 2: i also really like how regular BF still has his mic in his right hand and the sprite isn't just mirrored.

Did anyone notice the background characters reaction in week 5? On Hope where Soft Bf lashes out, you can see the characters look at the parents in disgust or feel sad for soft bf as in the background, it shows how unaware they were until the parents and soft bf lashes out or lose their cool.(including the characters on the second floor of the mall.)

Basically a fanfiction coming to life through a mod of the game. They did a really good job on that mod I must say. The story and new songs were amazing! I really enjoyed watching it and can't wait for further updates! :)

One complaint i gotta give with this mod is freeplay gets locked behind finishing the story, I know ever since week 6 its been the norm to have every mod have cutscenes and dialog and while this mod has pretty great story behind it, I'd rather just be able to download the mod and hop in to all the new charts without having to play old songs over again. Honestly if this mod didn't have 7/19 tracks be completely unchanged old ones it wouldn't be an issue, but the beginning half of the mod felt like a chore to play through Fresh+Dadbattle and Spookeez+South for the millionth time LOL

@@autobotCRSHR the example I'll use is the Chrismas week, starts off with Eggnog, but the true nature of the parents comes out in the cutscene before Hope. Eggnog serves as the mask because they have this facade of being kind, Hope is where SoftBF basically tears that mask off in Hope
