Fantastic track! I'm not all too familiar with all of the audio references as some other people in the comments, but i can still pick up on some (acrophobia at the start, the distorted sounds from the final boss, something sound effects, etc). I love how much care and attention to detail was put into making this song so it would appeal to Omori fans without being alienating to non-fans.

At first I was confused as to why this song was called "Affection", especially given how creepy it is, until I remembered, "Sunny... I love you..." Nice. As for the song itself, loved how well it sticks to the theme. The instrumental being based off of the sped up phobia themes was the perfect choice, we finally get to hear the full potential of those songs! Love how the vocals are sampled from the counting in Numbers, and even use Mari's screaming from the distortion in OMORI - ALTER. The piano coming in halfway through makes a really good and creepy transition, that is again perfectly in theme because of Something's association with Mari. Love how Something's poses are based off of the different phobias as well, as well as Basil's Something All Around Him, and how Something goes all out in the second half of the song and transforms into that creepy phobia style. All in all, awesome song. Keeps itself moving with the sort of dubstep style, while still staying super creepy. It's a great homage to the Somethings and the underlying scary mysteries of Omori. Definitely the creepiest song in this mod imo!

I am still so obsessed with this song- I can't describe how awesome it sounds, like, the sheer _power_ Something has over Sunny's mind is so clear here, and the way Hellmari's roaring cuts in during the second part of the song at some points, and the way so many samples associated with phobias, fear, and etc. are used... It all just conveys a vibe of Something as this overwhelming and nigh-undefeatable permanent force, that you can only hide away for a while, before it comes back, twice as strong as before. The visuals featuring this intense vignette-like effect on the screen, and the arrows shaking every time Something sings a note also help making it feel so indescribably massive, its toothy form at least. also i never knew "august/water" and "by your side." could sound so badass but i am so happy that i do now

Here’s all the sound references I could hear: The instrumental is a remixed sped up track of “Acrophobia.” Somethings vocals are the strange sounds of a girl talking from the track “Numbers.” The track Numbers has the German radio propaganda, “Achtung.” The girl is saying the German numbers 1-10. Something’s sound effect while disappearing is played throughout it. I am an omori nerd
