Hi Sue, Thank You for sharing your Holiday memories, and traditions with us. I am the mother of 2 adult sons.I still decorate the house, and carve a pumpkin every year. I even make Halloween Gift bags for my husband, and sons, although less candy now. Traditions are fun,and hopefully they will remember us for them and the fun we all shared. I had a great Dracula book edition illustrated by Edward Gorey, that I accidentally purged a few years ago(regretfully). I want to read more Shirley Jackson for the Season. I got involved with "The Clifton Series" By Jeffrey Archer.I'm on book 6 out of seven. Not very scary, but I really want to complete the series. Happiness, Cindy🫖📚🍁🍂🎃

Sounds wonderful, Cindy - very much like our family! I still do Easter baskets for our sons and my husband, though like you said, less candy these days (more books!). That sounds like a beautiful edition of Dracula. I read The Haunting of Hill House in October a few years ago and want to read more. Enjoy the series!

Oooh! I love the Halloween pics! We enjoy Halloween as well--as I've said, I encourage my kids to make the most of it while they are still kids. We also have my brother-in-law (and sometimes one of my husband's cousins) come down for the holiday and the kids love that!

That sounds like fun!! Yes, we encouraged our kids to enjoy trick-or-treating as long as they could :) I'm absolutely fine with teens doing it, as long as they put in the effort and wear costumes! That's the fun part anyway!

I'm reading Done And Dusted on my kindle. I'm really liking it so far. Even though it's more of a summer book. I've just been reading it since I'm a mood reader. I found out that one of the main characters has ADHD like me. That made me so happy. I don't feel as alone with my disability diagnosis. It's also helping to get my mind off finding out that my scoliosis is causing more issues. I am now on a narcotic pain medication to help me function with the severe chronic pain that will never get better. Happy Halloween!

So very sorry to hear about the chronic pain - I hope the new meds help! Isn't it so comforting to read about someone like you in a book? This MG book I talk about here is about a young girl who gets ME/CFS (which the author also has), and the descriptions are spot-on - I feel seen!

Just finished What Have You Done by Shari Lapena. This book gets right to it. Murder young girl left in a farmers field in the first few pages... I just started Someone We Know by the same author only a couple of chapters in but so far so good. Same thing Murder in the first few pages. Happy Halloween 🎃🎃🎃
