Hi Kelly, I’m wishing your dad the fastest recovery possible and sending him healing. Prayers and aloha. People are kind would never mention it. So you are a gentle wonderful soul and I appreciate you in my life. I’ve had a tough week this week. My 70s is not as easy as my 60s, but that’s to be expected I just finished a wonderful buddy read but I’m struggling with two other books. That often happens when you have an awesome experience with two wonderful people. Aloha friend and don’t be hard on yourself.❤❤❤

I'm sorry your dad is having health issues, but I'm glad he is back at home. I know what a relief that is. I hope your job pressures let up soon. Your garden looks lovely. It is so hard when parents are ill or in some kind of health crisis. And it always happens at the worst time! Glad your dad made it through. This year I didn’t get any blueberries from my yard. The birds got them all!

So glad that your Dad is back home Kelly. It can be so hard to know when to go and when to hold back in case they need us at a later time. Sending you love and a reminder to trust your instincts in those moments. I finished off Sense and Sensibility and spent my week watching adaptations and just daydreaming about that world. I tried starting a few things but found I just wanted to stay in that story in my mind a bit. Hope to start something new this weekend.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father but glad to hear that he's home again. Your flowers are beautiful. There is nothing in this world as delicious as raspberries off the vine either. My mother, who was really the gardener, died last year and I've taken over the flower beds but have enjoyed it. A lot of the flowers I planted at the beginning of the summer died but I just went out and got some more that I planted, especially 2 yellow and 1 red rose bush. I'm reading The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson and enjoying it.

Sorry to hear about your difficult week. I think camping would be great where you live, and hiking I'm sure, I agree with Jason you should go. My only plants are basil and spider plants and I think this is the longest I've ever kept them alive.

I bought Evelina last year for Jane Austen July and I still haven't read it. So sorry about your dad; I know how stressful that is with parents' health problems. I live in a subtropical zone; the plumeria, silverado sage and oleander are blooming in the heat. Take care.
