Update: most people probably won’t notice, but believe it or not my camera actually said that it was level. 😂

i kept up with them thru Manhattan. I think I started to watch Jason Goes to Hell and just turned it off and that was it for me. I thought the remake was OK. For me the first four are great and that’s all I need. I saw Part 4 in theaters opening night. Sold out theater. Was one of best movie going experiences of my life.

@@STEVEHEROLD I agree, those first 4 are great, but part 6 was a big comeback. It’s a money making machine and Hollywood loves those, I don’t think that it’s cheap to live there. 😂

@@SPBASS awesome man, thanks for sharing your ranking. Jason Lives was fun to watch again on Friday The 13th last month.

@@excelsiormoviereviews Jason Goes to Hell shouldn't exist. I believe the studio had been pestering the rightsholder for a new F13th film, but the rightsholder had nothing, no idea's; the well was dry. The rightsholder's teenage son's friend, who had no filmmaking experience at all, said, "I love Jason; I could make a Jason movie!" JGtH needs retitling, Friday the 13th: Nepotism meets Gross Incompetence.

@@SPBASS I still like it, but it’s not ranked very high for me though.

@@excelsiormoviereviews I could deconstruct the movie and explain in fine detail why it's bloody awful. But I have no desire to ruin films for people. Like, I'm aware for some older Millennials, this is their Friday the 13th. I suspect that came about, because basically us Gen X'ers had become bored of slashers. Well, we'd become bored of them in the mid 80s. There was also a socio-cultural shift in the late 80s, things were getting better, so we weren't quite so miserable anymore, but that's by the by. The flagship characters still had some life in them. Kruger, Pinhead, Jason, etc.. Right, so you had the Millennials who'd got all these F13 videos, but no F13 of their own. And that was JGtH. However, that's a very small group of people. Most sane people think it sucks, lol.
