That road is why we always have an atlas with us! Sometimes I think those GPS systems are all in the same room, like telemarketers, and they periodically hit “mute” on their end and laugh hysterically at people as they are directing them in circles or down a goat path, as in your case!🤭🙄 At least it turned into a beautiful day with a very interesting story👍🏼 Thanks for taking us along and God Bless🙏

Hey Mike & Karen, as you were traveling around back there at Kyles Ford, that is where my grandparents use to teach singing conventions at the Primitive Baptist Church and churches all around in that area, their last name was "Fisher" Rufus & Vernie. You sure brought back some memories for me. I live in West Tennessee, and I'm a Pentecostal Preacher and a Deputy Sheriff. We enjoy your videos and travels as you meander around the countryside. Blessings to you both ! Bro. McGee

What an adventure.😂 I love the back roads and looking at God's beautiful creations. This happened to me and my husband one time. Not by GPS. We wanted to take a back road out around Pittman Centet. Got the old Atlas out and picked one. It started out great then turned into the road like ya'll were on. One lane gravel except the passenger side was a little drop off with a creek running beside it. At one time, I thought I heard banjoes playing.😄 I was praying we didn't meet anyone. At the very end, here comes a car meeting us. The Lord was looking down upon us because the other car had a small pull off. I marked my atlas to not go that way again. This was an interesting video. Love the history. I have never heard of Mulungeons. I'm going to look up some more information on them to learn more. By the way, great job driving. Thanks for sharing. Have fun, be safe, and God Bless ❤️ Hey, how do you make that camera follow both of your movements? ls someone with ya'll? Just wondering.🤔 Another long comment. One day I'm going to keave a short and sweet one.😁

I live in Sneedville since 2017. The road to my property is very like that one over the mountain, one lane and sharp blind curves. But MY road has 2 creek crossing that you have to drive through. It's very easy to get lost in TN with all the backroads and hollers.

Wow! This episode was filled with adventure!! We were on a crazy road outside of Asheville once and it was dark it was so dang curvy and I was scared to death...we ended up having car issues after that road and had to get it repaired before we returned home..Loved the story about Big Hailey, and enjoyed the Mennonite store. My Dad loved going to the nearby Amish store where he lived every weekend. When I visited he always bought me my favorite Red licorice, and my sons their homemade chocolate pudding...it reminded me of him and how he loved going to the Amish store. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Loved your Big T bracelet Karen, forgot to tell you that in the previous vlog. Glad you safely made it off that ridge too!

Once a human took us on roads like this in Colorado. Once Google maps took us on a path like y'all were on , in Kentucky. I took us, accidentally, down a tight country town road. Have you seen the commercial where it shows the GPS in a car and then pans out to show the car in a pond. The wife is looking at the husband driver like "really". That's what he got for trusting the GPS. LOL My husband got on a gravel, curvy back road one following the GPS because he didn't put the correct name of the place he was going. LOL Thankfully I wasn't with him. LOL I saw a KZbin video about that Mennonite store. The man at the cash register was the original owner but now his grandson runs the store as I recall.
