I really enjoyed this walk down memory lane. I was born and raised in Chickamauga. I still live here. Im 72. When company came to visit from out of town, my grandparents would entertain them with a visit there, then we'd go to Bea's Restaurant on Dodds Avenue. Its a famous restaurant thats been around as long as me! They have round tables that seat about 8, i think. It has a lazy susan and they keep filling it up with their famous chicken, BBQ, various vegetables, and desserts. Thats a trip in itself. Thanks for the video. My husband works near St. Elmo where the Incline Railway is located. Mr. T's, Purple Daisy & 1885 are all great places to eat.

I lived in Chattanooga from 1970 to 1986. Road the Incline many times. At the top of Point Park is a trail that will take you down to Craven’s house. I was a lot younger when I walked that trail up and down the mountain. Loved the video, hope to see more like it.

Early in our marriage my wife and I went to Chattanooga. I wanted to ride the incline railway but she was chicken.😀 So we drove to the top. It's beautiful up there. I'd like to go back, but having had a stroke and bouts of vertigo I don't think the railway would be an option now.
