I just want to tell you both thank you so much for bringing back so many childhood memories of how I grew up in North Carolina and Tennessee! It actually brought me to tears and I give anything to go back to that time where live made sense and we were brought up with God. I feel truly blessed to grow up in the time that I did! I remember my daddy taking me to bluegrass festivals in the Blue Ridge, I had so much fun. Thank you so much for sharing! For a moment, if only for that moment, it was a sweet trip back to family and love old times never forgotten! ❤

Oh guys. While you are in Granville and so close to Gainesboro I think you would enjoy the 20 minute drive to Gainesboro. Many volunteers have taken the time to decorate the store windows for Christmas. So pretty! We also have a few excellent restaurants right there on the square. Gainesboro is the county seat of Jackson County.

If you ever want to go to a very peaceful campground you should try Dumplin Valley RV park in Kodak Tennessee. It is an old dairy farm and it is so quiet and peaceful. The owner is so sweet and was so gracious to us. We stayed there for a week and were able to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg very easily. Definitely worth your time to check it out.
