Pro tip! Keep your yeast at the very back of the fridge. The door of the fridge is one of the warmest parts of the fridge because it gets moved in and out of the cold so much. Keeping it at the back will help it last longer 😊 Technically they tell you to keep milk in the body part of the fridge too because of the same reason but we go through it too fast to notice haha

@@Abundantonabudget My yeast was in the cupboard for like two years until a few weeks ago hahaha so I think that’s probably the problem 😅

@ that would do it 😅 on the plus side, the next one you buy will live a long time. Mine is probably technically expired but it works great!

Been using 4 yr old yeast because it's kept in the freezer. My cinnamon rolls didn't rise quite as much as usual today so time to change it out, but it lasted a really long time. Nice video. Sending good energy and vibes for birth day.

@@pamt8430 thank you! Next time I buy yeast I’m definitely keeping it in the freezer 😂 I can’t bring myself to throw this out even though I’m pretty sure it’s dead hahah

You can add brewers yeast to bread doughs. I also saw a very good cook use it for making a salad dressing. I mean, not that it seems like you really have gestational diabetes but it's supposed to be good for keeping blood sugar levels down.
