Yeah I'm looking for an angle to defend, not because I agree with her, but because I get where she's coming from, but no, it really was kinda pointless. Christians have this thing where they feel the need to justify themselves, because yes, they are the most persecuted religion in the world, but they're also the most common, and have a pretty nasty history that gives people reason to dislike it. I'm ex-Catholic, and when I used to see people talk about things like discrimination, I wanted to feel involved, because I knew there were people who would hate me for my religion alone. What I didn't realize at the time was that it didn't matter, what mattered was the people facing REAL discrimination, not just disdain over different personal beliefs. Of course, there are Christians who face real discrimination, but I wasn't one of them, (not for religion at least,) LE isn't one of them, and either way Christians are of low concern compared to many other discriminated groups.

As an atheist, I don't mind discussing Christianity, because Homestuck does have a lot of roots in it. But that said, I don't care where Jesus is discussed as long as 1. It's relevant to the topic and 2. It's not used as a way of converting people (because that's just irritating). Honestly, I wouldn't have even noticed that there could be something possibly offensive in the video if she didn't strait up go on a tangent about how it could be offensive. Homestuck, as well as lots of other fiction refers to Biblical events and themes within their own stories. Her only mistake was trying to talk about the scientific validity of the old testament in a way that was completely irrelevant to the topic. You don't have to try and prove something is real in order to compare it to another piece of fiction. So yeah, there's nothing wrong with talking about the Abraham bible in this video, it just had a really random and unnecessary tangent in it.

Aradia is my favorite character. I love her so much, and she's the first Homestuck character I ever cosplayed. I find myself relating to her so well, and she's just so underrated compared to other Homestuck characters! (Also, I don't ship her with Equius. At all. I mean if you were so worried about people disliking you for your beliefs, then I think making a one and a half minute rant about it shoots yourself in the foot on that front by bringing it into the forefront. I love your fridgestuck videos. They offer a great insight and plenty of theories into the homestuck fandom. And I must congratulate you on your well used verse of your religion, and the significance of those parts of your religion to Aradia and her family namesake. But you can’t say that Christians are being killed and hated all over the world. Because just about every holder of a religion is. I’m agnostic and bisexual. I’ve read stories of various religions and myths cause I love that stuff. Hell I know more of what’s in the Bible than plenty of actual Christians in my state. I’d like to say I have no anger towards you or your religion. Merely i hav an issue a majority of the people who preach your religion. Jesus said to love thy neighbor. He taught to heal and love mankind. He forgave those who had betrayed him. (Even though Judas still gets omnomnommed by Satan) he died so that the first sin, and the laws of Leviticus (the punishments of the first sin) could be forgiven. And yet plenty of people who believe in your religion, hold those laws, which were forgiven and abolished when Jesus sacrificed himself, against gays, bisexuals, lesbians and many many more. Proclaiming us as abominations. Muslims do the same. But there are still plenty of both that do what’s right and accept the proper teachings of their prophets and messiahs. Rather than following the corrupt figureheads who have take your religion made for love and turned it on anyone that opposes them. You’re not wrong for saying that Christians are being treated badly. But that doesn’t mean others aren’t too. I love your use of the text here. But please dont make the mistake so many before you have. Do unto others that which you wish to be done unto you. OK, so I'll start this ramble off with saying that I thought it was really good! I will be completely honest in that I missed a bunch of things about her time loop, like how Aradia found the Crosby top. Anyways imma ramble now so sorry in advance. OK, so first off, I don't know if you plan to do an independent Classpect Analysis, but I personally think the Aradia Dave similarities arise from the fact they have the same aspect, which account for fondness of dead things (time=death), and the colour red (the see time symbol and God Tier outfits) other comparisons can be drawn, such as both initially useing modified Instruments to time travel but seeming to outgrow them once they Ascend. On a similar note, as you mentioned, Maids tend to tend to and look after their aspect, which makes it especially interesting that she "wishes to see it all fall apart" and subsequently is the only character who we see observe the destruction of the network of dream bubbles, AND the Lord English himself, as if she is accepting her job in the timeline is done, within the Death of Time and death. Maids also clean crap up, of which she does excellently, literally clearing up the afterlife and the demon of time who plagues it. As a Rust blood, she also is "destined" to die first since she has the shortest life span. That being said I personally think Aradia does actually communicate with the spirits of the dead. First off, Aradia mentions that she sends all of Vriska's past victims against her, and while that would retroactively include Aradia, we see the spirits of trolls with different horns pestering Vriska. Also there is a connection with Psionics like Vriska, Sollux, and Aradia and the Dead. I also would include that having Droog, dead spirits and alternative versions of herself would fall under a different Maid's journey motif of pressure. The way I read it, Maids are ordered around by a larger force Crooker Corp, the brood caverns, and (see above for Aradia), and they have to learn to own that and eak out their own identitity and learn to tend to their aspect without it owning them (which is why I think Maid and Page are active/passive aligned).

I'm pretty sure referring to her as a 'princess' is just because she's a player, most of the kids are refereed to as prince and princesses. Except the Alpha's who were reefed to as 'nobles'.

13:40 BAD WOLF.?! ok let me explain bad wolf is kinda hard to explain rest asured its a doctor who reffrence at one point it was a recurring thing in the series.. but to put it ligthly rose (not homestuck rose doctor who rose) absorbs a crap ton of time energy and basically is able to do a shit ton of awesome stuff including resurrecting guy so hard it might have taken him billions of years to die for real in this form she called herself "Bad wolf" and created a series of clues to ensure that her past self whould eventully become bad wolf...
