Fried Egg - The Incredible Flexible Egg (7" Flexi, 2015)

This may already be on KZbin, but I figured I'd upload it anyway. Upon first glance with this artwork, I expected this 7" flexi to have the typical raw, slimy Lumpy aesthetic one might expect. I later found out that Fried Egg was a new band out of Richmond, VA and had a few people I know in the band. And while Fried Egg is snotty and raw in Lumpy fashion, it still has that tough, full-bore hardcore style that could only come out of Richmond. This recording blazes through 3 blistering tracks before you know what's happened. As far as I know, this release is kind of a side project, but it's one of my favorite releases from the Richmond scene in a while. Sam from Feel It Records is in this band, and even though he carries the discs, I don't think it's a Feel It release. It's catalog # EGG 01, which leads me to hope for more from these dudes.
