I dont have lots of time to watch you tube so it took me a couple months but I finally watched ALL of your vids. You are living my dream. Lots of country, no people, Pike jumping out of the water to hit a bare hook haha, grouse, beaver, moose, caribou and squirrels to eat and lots of fur to trap. Thanks for taking time to video all of it to share. It must be a pain at times to carry the camera and film. I had a Labrador retriever when i was young. Good dogs. Keep on keeping on bro.

Glad to see your channel back up! Some grouse hunters say you will enjoy the meat even better if you let it sit overnight. They fry up the hearts etc the first night. Your cooking videos are awesome so keep them coming! Hope you get trapping again this winter 🤘🌎

Either way cool stuff involving your fans like that. That's class. Thanks for the hard work and time you take to deliver. Peace man. Be safe.

I tried cleaning a Grouse the way that you do. Worked out great! We have a pheasant farm. Every time we cleaned anything, we stepped on the wings. I think I prefer your method. I haven't really seen very many Grouse this year in Michigan. As soon as deer season is over, I'll be hammering on the small game and the trapping.

Good one Andrew, this year fall isn't really cooperating..... In a weeks time were usually out in the delta harvesting fish and running traps but with the unusual warm weather and tremendous amounts of snow it's not really freezing up. Up here in inuvik we have a lot more ptarmigan than grouse. So I have been know to follow the same procedures as yourself !!! 5 stars mang !!!!!

Looks pretty damn tasty Andrew! We used to have lots of grouse here in Ohio. But they all but disapeared. And shooting 1 with a rimfire rifle would have to be luck for me. Because the only way you see one is when it flushes. Most peaple use shotguns and shoot them on the wing here. I love hunting with my Ruger 10/.22. But i think i would starve before i had the chance to spot 1 setting still to get a shot at around here. Just goes to show the great land you live in up there!

Don't know if you ever tried them but a pair of Fiskar game shears work great for butchering small game and will save the edge on your knife(and maybe a few nicks on your fingers). Ruffed grouse has to be the best tasting game bird i ever had the pleasure to eat. Good hunting!

Nicely done Andrew! I am not sure Charlie likes the beans? He looked a little tentative. Hope he ate through them to get to the juicy meat morsels! Looking forward to the snow and "True North" trapline season.

I live in Ohio also but I used to live in Washington state when I was in the air force. They have the safe ruffed grouse that we do but because it has never had the hunting pressure that they had here they usually don't flush. We used to take them with a .22 pistol while deer hunting. You definately couldn't do that in Ohio. I used to have some on my property in Hocking Co. but with feral house cats and coyotes, they are all but gone. I havn't seen one in years.
