Agreed. He ate it that way because it was easier for him to film the video that way. If you notice he says "Its pretty much the same, right?" It would have been able to give a more accurate review of the food if it was eaten how it is normally served. Not hating at all, just explaining.

Lunnacie nooo don't put sugar in fryer oil it melts into the oil and starts smoking( speaking from experience) but the cinnamon would be great.

Bb NL Cornflakes would be better with cinnamon. A dusting of sugar after frying works perfectly. I did this instead of panko and without any egg.

I don't know if you'd know this recipe, but I've been eating fried ice cream since like 4-5 years ago. They put the ice cream on a sliced bread, then put another on top and wrap it. then roll it on flour, dunk it in egg yolk and roll it on bread flour. then store in freezer and then fry it. the ice cream will hold up much better

I mean, the 3rd recipe is kinda dope but you can combine the 2nd and 3rd recipe together. If you didn't have any Pound cake just use lowkey white bread cut the edges and wrap it like david do, then chill it in the fridge then coat it with panko bread-egg layer to get that crispy sensation. Very late, but panko bread crumbing becomes amazing if you mix the panko mix with sugar and cinnamon. It probs works well with other stuff as well, but it makes the crust less savoury

Hi the whole point of a fried ice cream is to eat it while its still warm so there is a contrast in temperature and texture. Just like a ice cream with a hot brownie. throwing in the freezer before eating it defeats the whole purpose so u might want to try it again it might taste better
