Sounds like it has plenty of gain. I'd back the gain down, turn up the master. If someone was looking for just over the top gain/distortion, maybe look at there favorite "metal pedal"

I can imagine this thing would rip with a good overdrive and some active pickups. Not to mention the Mr scary mod would put it over the edge

Mine has the Hot Mod Evo v2. And most of the time I run a k-style or 808 style in front. By far an amazing sounding amp for me.

Thanks for watching! I don’t have an ikon, but I have the Archer (silver) and the Rockaway (archer w/ 6band Eq), and it works beautifully. I prefer the Rockaway out of my two.

Sounds really good with the added boost pedal. It pulled off the Tool and Foo riffs. I've also been eye balling the Runt 50 for a while but had some doubts about the gain. It's almost there, so close. I've seen videos with the added hot mod and it helps but it still hasn't convinced me. I look forward to seeing your results. You dial in your tone more like I do. Which speakers did you use in this demo?

Thanks, I use a Iso cab for all of my videos and currently use a Jensen Nighthawk 75 & Jensen Raptor 100. Hotmod demos are coming soon.

The clean is amazing. It has DEEPNESS in range from my experience. Friedman does low Volumes Very, very well.
