Friend, coworker charged with murdering UPS driver in Irvine

Expedito De Leon was shot and killed while taking a break in his UPS van in Irvine. Police say the man who shot and killed him was his childhood friend and coworker, Rhean Jalipa Fontanoza.

I looked it up. His charge aside from murder is elevated due to special circumstances (probably because it was premeditated with stalking) that can be proven. Which in turn can put him in the death penalty instead of just a life sentence.

I’m assuming he probably had a gambling problem and his friend also needed the money where his family was saying it’s all your fault for lending it to him and now we can’t make up for it on time to what ever expense is do . I watch a lot of true crime stories on detective discovery based off of real life people . Here’s a true story I’m Asian so a lot of my parents friends would always borrow money to go gambling where they would always lose eventually one of the friends wanted their money back in full not in partial payments and they’re very impatient while being upset so yeah what they did next was crazy they actually drove to that person work place and shot them but he survived . In court they ask why he said he owed him money for gambling debts and he was losing sleep every night thinking when will he get his money back so it made him crazy to do what he felt like he had to do . That old Asian guy was in his 50 and he shot his friend around his 50 .. yeah true story reminds me of this story .
