Though there were many struggles since the sword wasn't strong enough with both half's not making a full sword. Leaving each of them with many near-death experiences. When they finally crossed paths with each other again Spike chose the path of Darkness as they couldn't take the damage that leads to their broken Friendship. The darkness corrupted their mind after a while driving them crazy insane to destroying everything around them. While the other took the path of Light but the Light rejected them therefore making them weaker. Though when they finally saw each other again they couldn't remember each other all they thought was power meant everything, therefore, fighting each other towards death. The winner was neither as both half of the swords broke when they finally remembered each other. Spike forgave them instantly as they always thought it was their fault while the other was so overly jealous of them their weak light magic became corrupted accidentally stabbing their old best friend in the heart leading to Spikes death. When they realized they accidentally killed their old best friend they couldn't horn the pain of it. So they also decided to stab themself leaving both of the sword's broken and scattered until many centuries. (sorry for any grammar mistakes)

Based on previous crossing outs and where the video begins it's likely they were both writing together in the first place. If they weren't Rhu would've been more surprised she crossed out in the first place. And Spike's character is bad, just for different reasons. It's a Mary Sue with an overly edgy tragic past that's only important because Rhu said so, not because it actually is. They're both kinda in the wrong

The thing about the story is that spike was the first to be selfish by deciding that the sword they bother worked hard to get together was spikes. Cherry retaliates and it escalates. That's why spike apologized, she felt bad she had decided that her character was more important than cherry just because they had different tastes.

I understand your viewpoints, @Speed Fist but I should note that I am not referring directly to the almighty "Cartoon Network" which the two shows you listed were derived from. In fact, Gravity Falls was on the Disney Channel surprisingly enough. At any rate, while I don't think this show is quite grim enough for it- there are networks like per say Adult Swim which have cartoons geared toward much older audiences if it did in fact fluster too many people. There is a wide variety of different age groups that watch cartoons!

I remember doing this with my former best friend during second to third grade. Instead of writing we would draw comics and scenes in either one or multiple pages. We always switched my notebook back and forth during our free time in classes. A lot of our stories never finished but we were still able to make a pretty big universe around it. A lot of times we would even let our classmates join in the story or character making. In grade four we weren't in the same class and only had time to talk to each other before class started. From grade five above, she went to another school. In sixth grade we reconnected through a group chat, but I didn't stay for too long and eventually left. Now I have a new set of best friends and even though I will miss my old drawing partner, I hope she's happy doing fine now...

This brings me back to middle school. My friends and I had this big notebook we would write notes and stories in (plus drawings). Most of the time it turned out really had cuz if you cram a bunch of 6th graders opinions into a story it generally turns out pretty bad. There was even a full on fight. Two of the people where fights irl which then translated into their characters fighting which made no sense. It went from some fetch quest thing into arguing about a boy. Really weird, but funny!

Better story line ending: Cherry and Spike were standing in front of the legendary sword of Acanthus. The sword spun and flew towards them. They both physically flinched, thinking it was going to hurt them. But the sword stopped in between them. They gulped and glanced at one another. The sword's handle split in two. They gasped and nodded. Their hands reached for the separate handles. Memories flooded into their unconscious minds. There they saw two separate individuals looking down on them. One was a man with demon red eyes, black scales covering his face and arms, and leather, dark wings draping his back. The other was a woman with brown irises and gold rings wrapped around them. She had celestial wings sprouting from her back. They were like opposites.. From different ends of the spectrum. One was the dark shadows, the other was the light covering those shadows. A demon-dragon king and a bright eyed-angel. The imagery faded, and the two were brought back into reality. It all made sense.. The reason of their loss of one missing parent. Never having their mom or the other never having a dad. Cherry's mom always had this distinct eye color that never left from her memory. Spike's father always had a strange eye color, seemingly normal but *red.* They both disappeared during their childhood never to be seen or heard from again.. It all made sense.. No doubt about it, the people in the vision were their parents.. But did that mean... Cherry and Spike turned to each other. Instantly they made a startling discovery.. Cherry sprouted wings of separate looks. A dark leather wing and the other an angelic glow. Spike turned around to look at their back and saw they had the same set. Both of them had their browns eyes looped with gold rings. They were glowing like the woman's. They gasped.. Were they related?? No were they *twins?* Long lost siblings..? The sword split in two at this recognition. The heavier question remained.. Who *were* their parents, and why did they leave..?
